tldr some of the exp from your mlb lvl 100 ships gets put into a trust fund, you use the exp to level up ships in a specially designed building aaaaand its gone

With one ship, 50% of the xp goes to the ship, 50% is wasted

For 5 ships, each ship gets 20%, no wasted xp
