I changed the storage to external sd card on android. I thought it would move the files there, but when i check and nothing is moved. Just the folders and no files. Is there a safe way to change the whole AL file location to sd card?
al isn’t really optimized for SD cards
you can only move the app itself there
you cannot move the obb
which takes up most of the space
You cannot flash the SD card in your Android system like your PC so you cannot move system/obb files from the ROM to the SD card
However as a means of storing data externally, it does give you the permission to "export" app files to the SD card
There is no guarantee that the game will work out tho

Ever since the large anniv patch whenever I tab out of AL on my phone, I get a black screen for a short bit and get the prompt to reconnect to the server when I tab back in to it. Anyone else have this issue?

I tried updating the game from Google Play, I turned my phone on and off a bunch since I got that problem last time and Turning it off and on again worked. I tried deleting a few apps to open up space for this giant game, didn't work
Can you try a different network connection and if that doesn't work, try downloading a free VPN to see if that works?

So Facebook is the only one that crashes? How odd....I'd say perhaps try restarting your device if you haven't already and as well as clearing the cache of AL just to try out those simple solutions

Trying to update through wifi gives me the error just like @carmine hedge (and also "Hash file check failed") but using Mobile Data seems to work (although I won't do it because I'm almost all out of data)
i lost my progress as soon as a server maintenence started so the mission i did did not count for the superstar of the blue sea event and the seal reports are not showing in loot drops now
That's due to the event ending now, hence why you're not getting the points anymore. As for the run you did before, there is a reason why they give out warnings for maintenances so situations like this are less likely to occur. I'm not sure if there's much to be done about that run personally, you can try emailing support if you'd like, but I don't believe there's much to be done

It might've just not been moved over correctly. But in general, AL doesn't run well from SD cards. Many people will get (or eventually get) an error code 5 which causes them to have to reinstall freshly onto their internal

It's an issue to do w/ connection speed. Staff are aware of the issues going on w/ it and they released an Android APK patch that should've ideally fixed it but no word on it for iOS. We'll be asking them about it. In the meantime though, one way to solve it if possible is to try a different network connection to see if that bypasses the network timeout

Got it. Yeah, the connection probably isn't strong enough w/ the current issue of the server. The data itself is good (hence why you were able to update w/ your phone or it was the APK update this morning) but when running it as a hotspot, it times out hence why you get the infinite loop
so i just wait till another hotfix happens?
We'll be informing them that iOS is still having the issue as we haven't heard of any iOS update for the issue yet. But in the meantime, a stronger connection could get it past the issue if you happen to be able to try one

Hi There, Super Star of the Blue event says it runs untill the 28th August but I cant collect items anymore? Ive cleared multiple times on 8-4 and i'm not getting any items... Is the event actually over?

But that update was the same as the yesterday, it takes so much storage on the update but when it's finish it's back to original files size 2.14gb

But it's okay. The actual update is about 2GB in total (don't worry, it'll replace plenty of old files in the game so it won't kill your storage)

I have a problem with the oil in this game
Every single time my game crashes on my phone, I lose oil when I log back in

What kind of device are you using?
Well the reason for the crashing is almost certainly due to RAM limitations. The iPhone 6 has 1GB of RAM while AL requires around 2 or more to run smoothly w/o consistent crashing issues. As for the oil loss, I can't say much there besides just make sure you're not spending it on anything such as sorties, food, etc

Well as said, be sure you're not spending it on anything (especially right before it crashes. Such as starting a battle) But aside from that, you could try opening up a ticket w/ support via email to see if they can offer any insight to it

Okay. There was an APK update yesterday released on the Play Store to fix the connection/download issues so download that if you haven't yet. But the update will be around 2GB or so. Just to give you a forewarning

Getting stuck at "Retrieving version info" is usually a connection error. If possible, try restarting your device, using a different network connection, or restarting your current one

How exactly did you break it? You just need to log in with Facebook or Twitter on the title screen for Step 4. Then choose your old server for Step 5

I tried to play the game on a new phone. When I got to the start screen I logged in with my twitter but it only let me pick aoura server and I was in sandy. When I went in the game the tutorial was playing. any ideas?

idk what log mode is but i finally got it to work after mesing with it all day. i downloaded a different copy of the game from qooapp instead of google play and i think it reset files but my account was on the qoo app so i deleted that one and redownloaded it from google play and it suddenly worked again.
I change my secretary to atago and suddenly got some sort of date mission with her. Is this some sort of feature that im not aware of? if so is there a way for me to date other ships if i put them as secretary?
