Based on her historical ramming of the Admiral Hipper, her offensive skill buffs the Escort Ships attack and defense.
Maybe it should be a bit clearer, that her skill buffs damage and defense only when ramming (and I don't know how exactly it works - is it all of their damage including guns or specifically damage dealt by ramming? I'd assume only ramming, but I might be wrong) and not "just in general". It's kinda implied in "based on ramming", but could be clearer imo.
At the same time having a smokescreen skill to boost her survival.

Also: I'm sure it's a lot of work, but more ships could benefit from small sections like Glowworm's one. You know, general tips on their role and some historical trivia.

tbh that entire bottom section should be removed entirely, it was added almost a year ago when the wiki had different plans for ship pages. we don't want to do history sections on ship pages because its essentially paraphrasing existing wikipedia articles, its fluff at best. there are some history tidbits on ship class pages tho

also general usage tips falls into the 'opinionated content' grey area, which we don't want on official pages. but user pages are fair game for that kind of stuff

I'm fairly certain USS Hammann did not try to block torpedoes. It was trying to assist repairs of USS Yorktown from previous air attacks, but I-168 kinda came in and sunk the two ships.

What kind of crew would block torpedoes with their own ship? Does that logic even make sense?

In the example sentences, it's obvious that Jill is the one that's confused. Same concept here. If you're reading just the sentence in the wiki without any prior historical knowledge, you'll be confused because the first phrase implies that Hammann was the one damaged by bombs.

An impartial observer will view that sentence not knowing what got damaged, and the way the sentence is set up, the thing that got damaged will be identified as "USS Hammann."

Hi. I know this one might be complicated, but, right now when you change the shown picture of a shipgirl to see her various skins, when you want to go back to the previous page, you get sent back to the previous skin in the same page instead of going to the actual previous page you were at.

For example, if I am at Yuudachi page, looking at her default skin, then I click to see her Shogun of Snowballs skin, going a page back keeps me in the same page, but now showing me her default skin again, and if I switched skins multiple times you have to go back multiple times even if it were between the same skins.

It seems like there is a sentiment in the subreddit that turns off EN players from using the Wiki for the game as actively as they should. Perhaps some changes could be introduced to include the EN Server in the English Wiki?

Some changes could include:

• Updating the Headline to announcing the EN Servers are already online. To date, it still says "English Open Beta servers opened up on August 16th, 2018 for both iOS and Android."
• Creating an Events Tab for EN Servers akin to the one for CN / JP in the front page. It will also address the flood of questions that come with each event.

Just to clarify, by "include the EN Server", I mean to give it the same level of attention as the CN/JP does. As an active EN user of the wiki, I know how useful it is and it would be great if others realize it as well.

Today, there is a notion that the wiki is primarily meant for CN/JP players.

So, things are slow.

The EN Server Link does not have to be as comprehensive as the CN/JP Event Banner List in the Yellow & Pink Boxes. It could just be a small box that just details the present main event on-going so that it would bring visitors directly to the Event Page. 😃

This way, no major changes to the current layout need to be made and it would also promote wiki usage for the EN Server player base. 😃
