True, it is not a bug per se. But can you, please, present it further. It is not fair to save all that progress, in other areas and disregard this one, especially since you have the means to solve it. You have the arvhive which describe which ships drops in events, you have the Lab which is linked to the ships in the dock. You just have to add a characteristic in the Lab that that ship is aquired from an event and link the Lab to the medal. Of course, you may or may not have to put an exception for this to register multiple aquisitions of the same ships, depending how it works in the first place. So as long as the ships land in the dock area, it may be as well aquired both from the map or from the construction site. This is an example of how it can be fixed. It disregard many other factors, so it may not be the best one. Either way, it is possible and is fair. I insist on this because it is a huge time investment to clear the event maps. For the past few months, I didn't actually play the game, but rather completing events. I hope you "fix" it. Thank you.

Can somebody help me identify what kind of bug is this?
Over the past few days my ships started disappearing from my dock. As of today, I have lost a total of 4 ships. The circumstance was like this: Before the 1st update (new UI), I sent my ships in commission. After the maintenance ended, I logged in and found out that some ships have been replaced with different ships. I completed the comm then the ships disappeared. I could not find them in dock (filter set to all) nor dorm. The second time is before the hotfix after UI update. Like the 1st time, I lost more ships, for a total of 7 ships. Today, after I restart my game, Belfast disappeared. Since she was still in skill training, I checked the academy and found this. Now I can't even access the academy.
Can anyone help me ?

We do have 2 workarounds but they're not solid. The first is if you have a research project going on, finish it from the main menu. The second is, try turning off your internet connection when you open the project list

Do you have 6/7 despite having 7? there's a known issue that gets fixed by a reinstall, make sure you're bound if you do so

The reinstall didn't work for it? It's worked thus far - make sure you're connections or stable, or use an alt wifi/data/vpn. Also confirm that you actually have 7 KMS Vanguard ships, I guess

Besides trying to check if your installation went awry, I'm not sure what you can do but wait for an update, as it's worked for everyone else, and they're already aware of the issue and working to fix
