Yeah youre exactly right, i can do that. I can tilt my phone, cover or get some privacy screen protector, but thats not always the case or solution. Sometimes is more like im uncomfortable looking at the ls myself. Is not as if I haven’t thought about those “ solutions myself” sometimes is about being flexible. I mean if they can implement a gallery in al where u can dl specific pictures, i think a selectable loading screen is def possible, not to mention i can play the game without trying to be embarrassed/ or spending the extra penny for the anti privacy protector. What we players want is to play the game normally without feeling uncomfortable

@agile otter I think something that needs to be made better is greater access to pr blueprints. I think there needs to be some way of getting them outside of research so an idea I had is to make secretary missions for all the pr ships and reward blueprints for that specific ship. Another idea is a weekly mission that rewards like 5-10 bp just to help with the or grind.
There definitely needs to be some way of actively gaining prints outside of events. Also research is super expensive so if your saving for builds or for limit breaks cough shinano cough 20k you can’t do research and you miss out on bp as well

I dislike the current iteration of the SP stage since it requires clearing all enemies and locks you from advancing unless you do so. Suggestion: Implement a reward for all enemy clear for SP, but let us kill less enemy nodes to spawn the boss so we don't have to get through 8 fleets or more

In hard mode when you are selecting ships for sortie, you can press on a character for a couple seconds and it shows that character's details/gear. Useful feature.
What's also useful is that you can swipe right or left and it shows the details of the other ships in the fleet.
It works on hard mode, but not on normal mode. Please add the feature to normal mode.

use a faster search algorithm when reccomending ships. Every time I press reccomend my phone lags. It was okay at first but as my dock grew bigger its is starting to lag more. Maybe have a cache of the top ranked ships or a place where players put ships that they'd like to reccomend so you lessen the seach space for ships to reccomend, if the developers are already using O(logn) algorithm to reccomend ships.

Filtering in the dock takes a solid 1-2 seconds as well (on SD855 phone). The game's performance is progressively getting worse as time passes. My SD801 phone ran it quite smoothly when I picked the game up somewhat close to launch but now it struggles to achieve even 20 fps. The game freezes for 5-10 seconds after returning to the game window after unlocking the phone or coming from another app now. It's not like the developers are adding much but optimization is somehow going down the drain.

Okay so im just going to say this whoever thought 200 builds is realistic for a build marker is insane. For new players/ anyone who doesnt pay money or was bled dry from the amount of other build events before the current one, 200 is unrealistic unless you spend money. I dont usually binge in the game but when i do its dumb because i do every mission to get cubes. I do every commission for a chance at cubes and within the time frame for this event so far ive done 94 builds with every method to obtain cubes since the last events bled me dry. (Not spending actual money to get cubes.) So im just curious on why was it decided to do 200 builds before getting the UR and since builds wont carry over for any future UR builds thats dumb setting it that high. (Side note ive had friends get her first build, 2 within 4 builds, etc. As for the feedback for this the build marker should've been 100. Then go from there. This is frustrating. Didnt get nagato again after her rerun ended so i have another year to wait for a chance at her again. I hope Devs consider this for the future build events.

If anything im asking for a more realistic number of builds. You get 4 cubes a day at the minimum. Without buying any cubes you can do 40ish builds a week(just from dailies and weeklies) this doesnt count the rare 5-8 cube commisions that almost never pop up this DOESNTinclude free handouts from Devs, buying with real money, using free gems from either handouts or 3 staring stages. I dont care if people spend their money for builds i just want to put feedback to make it more reasonable for everyone to obtain something if they are putting their time and effort to clearing missions/commissions immediately after reset.

I have a new idea for a pity system for the other ships in the event build pools, not just the "top" one (e.g Bismarck or Shinano)
My idea is that you can trade a number of duplicates of an event ship (say, 5 or 7) for one copy of another event ship of your choice

Can we get bigger arrows to the left and right of the research selection screen? It's so hard to tap the little guys that it's far easier to just tap out and onto the one you need. Or maybe spin/scroll them would be cool. Pretty sure one of their screens is because third anniversary (same reason we got an unique second year anniversary they didn't). Also eventbased, they got a U-110 loadingscreen we didn't get since we didn't get the event at the same time.
(still think having customisable loading screens is a good idea, and people have been asking for that for ages even before the recent risque ones got people asking for a way to disable those for work)

Feedback (as someone who spends money) regarding the approach being taken for rainbow rarity ships:
In short, I think it's honestly great. The whole system with pulling UR introduced with Shinano I feel is actually a step in the right direction. I'm well aware there are alot of people who may complain that the cost is too high, but understand, outside of retrofits, the other place we've been seeing rainbow rarity so far is decisive research ships which are infinitely more cancerous to get and max out. Rainbow rarity is not a tier of ships that is even remotely required whatsoever and are basically overkill (therefore a luxury). As someone who spends, I think the system in place is quite fair and really good and I am hoping that this becomes the norm for rainbow rarity in the future instead of the approach taken with DR ships since the time-span is just too long.

The rewards are just so useless, with only the very occasional bulins and cube being bought. A lot of people are sitting at hundred thousands or even a million merit with little to buy.
Adding some near nude sub which is so forgettable is a pretty sad move.
All 3 of the SRs that can be exchanged are so forgettable gameplay wise and are mostly used for collection. Majority of equipment in tech boxes are useless.
As of now, PVP is mostly used for free levelling/flexing only. There is close to no benefit of getting Merits as the exchange shop is just full of useless stuff.
Game should add in useful stuff like skill books/PR blueprints/food/equipment parts etc and diversify the pool.
And gonna add to this that it is about time to implement this as the Merit store hasn't even changed much in the whole 2/3 years of the game.

Alright, I'll admit that my knowledge of Japanese is limited, but I'm quite certain that I found a mistranslation. Its about Z25's max affection line.
I know its not a new ship and fairly niche, but I think this is worth to fix this.
The problem is the very start of the line, its translated as a "Ehehe...". Please listen to the love line on the wiki. Its not "Ehehe" that you will hear, its Z25 struggling to say "すき (Suki)", which you can hear sometimes in anime etc, a character pronounces love to another by just stating "Suki"(which means love/like) and in this context should be translated as a "I love you".
So what is happening in this line is Z25 "practicing" on her toy to pronounce love to the commander and struggling to do so out of embarrassment. Its hard to tell from the current translation.

Seems like it was just a case where EN used the base CN text instead of JPs. And CNs wont always match up with the actual voiced lines due to the VA coming after the original lines are written. So the TL is most likely correct, just confusing due to JP changing the line later

Not really the wrong base. Just for whatever reason, JP would change lines when they got them and ready for a VA, which causes an odd discrepancy since CN came first and was already using the original text. And EN just happens to use the original CN lines for TLs at most times.

The biggest issue I see is the seaplanes. I don't know how normal plane times are calculated, but seaplanes are really just amount x time. So with a reload of 15s, and 3 auxilary guns, it takes 45s to launch 3 of those pity airplanes that do next to no damage. So they don't do damage, nor are even remotely fast enough in loading to be useful for removing projectiles. So if they took atleast 1 aux gun away too, that would be 30s and atleast somewhat usable. Odd idea to buff a ship by taking "guns" away, but so it is.

I have a suggestion for an auxiliary known as White phosphorus. It was used between WWI and current day warfare so it would fit between the timeline this game is based on. Can Archives in Memento be updated? As there are four events in War Archives i.e VDR, WC, FW and DC.
So archives should indicate the respective map no. of the drop only ships rather than indicating the event name...

Suggestion: Please make a way to have the targeting reticle for BBs shots to be more visible. If there are a lot of ships clustered together or a bunch of damage animation, the reticle is hard to make out. Perhaps, changing the color or allowing the user to select a color in the options menu. I've seen the section about potentially streamed content for AL. I'd like to say that I'd absolutely enjoy the ability do DL voice lines and L2D for single ships rather than having a 700MB file to download if I clean-install the game
How the system could work: Set ships for which you always want to have VO/L2D downloaded. Then stream the rest to the phone when necessary (engaging in exercises against ships you don't use, using the ship). After a certain amount of time after not using this ship (every maintenance) the temporary files clear. They can be streamed back up
This should reduce the voiceline file size significantly
Especially if it works for single lines rather than packs for the entire ship
Say you engage Langley in exercises. The game knows which skin she's using and streams her sortie line(if flagship), low HP line and skill line to you

Seem I found an issue in the game or the wiki is not up to date atm. Both issues come from the War Archive. Example1: Fallen Wings - Normal Map, B-3, 3-Star Rewards. The wiki mentioned that I should of been awarded West Virginia. When I accomplished this I was not awarded her. If anyone has gotten her from 3-Starring B-3 please let me know to confirm.
Example2: Opposite-Colored (Divergent Chessboard), Normal Map, B-4, Clear Rewards. The wiki mentioned that Schamhorst is a reward. Same issue as example 1. I didnt recieve her for clearing the mission.

I don't know if this has been said already but I think the notice for mandatory playstore update and account binding should be sent earlier in the game. I don't know when it was issued today because I was asleep but I can imagine a new European player going to sleep before the message and waking up after the maintenance has begun. Someone like Hipper could've really gotten alot of love with her muse version being a skin or atleast having the option for original Hipper to use the skin aswell.
Like now with Roon Muse, she will 100% be a downgrade compared to the normal Roon, especially if you've already put the time and effort into raising her to her fullest (120, 200 affinity, Fate sim and maxed skills).
There is no reason for someone like me to use the muse version, but damn would I pay to have the skin for normal Roon.

@silver cliff When it comes to the first part, actually, Crescendo of Polaris was one of the few major events of that period that got pushed back on EN for more than few weeks. It was on CN and JP exactly a year ago, while on EN that timeframe was utilized for Divergent Cheeseboard Rerun, and Polaris came around only in February.
While it still makes it re-appear earlier than Ashen (July) and Tragicomedy (September), it is nowhere near as bad as you imply, and this gets a bit null anyway, given it is a new event, not a rerun (that is, actual Polaris rerun might actually still follow the order and not appear until the two aforementioned).

Why does baltimore and albacore are the only ones who gets being downgraded as Elite? And they're US faction. As such a thing happens in most gatcha games(but first time in AL, loli version is not counted, they have different seiyuu, design, age, etc. totally different) and is this could be a sign that differences in stat will be alot ? I've seen comparison the muse shipgirls from first Polaris, the stat differences is only 1 to 5 points.

The original balti is one of toptier CA within the game. I've seen dozen lower variant like this in other gacha games, the lower variant surely have a lower stat as well, the drop stat is more than 10-20%.

@proud patio if you're comparing other shipgirls's stat from SR and Elite then yes. Lets take an example, Avrora as SR compared with Edinburgh as Elite, Edinburgh is all the way better than Avrora in stat combats.
But this case is about Balit's own variant. Released a lower variant is a common thing happens in most gatcha games. Generally it means released weaker one in stat. Let's hope that's not gonna happen here. I would be really sad if it's true.
I've been comparing the previous muse shipgirls from first Polaris event as well, drops stats is about 1 to 5 points but the rarities stays same. Let's see how it turns out. Is it the stat combat gonna be the same(i would behappy 'cause to save oil) or all the way down(and couldn't be in use in higher strict level, only collectible)?

And I have a question why do you guys release events like this, that's is worst then farming 7-2.
I can understand that you want to create events for everyone to enjoy new to old player. But why not fix the easier nodes first then, that they give enough events points for the casually players so they are happy.
And then Focus on the real players, we the grinders that actually plays the game and support them we always gets shit on when it comes to events like this. It's not worth farming it's not worth going BIG DICK on as it's horrible.
Exp is bad, commander exp is bad, the drop is bad, everything about the event is bad.
When it comes to a event like this I take it, it takes HOURS and DAYS and a lot of works to fix a event like this. Then why are the events so DAMN bad.
When going to normal chapters is more rewarded then the event that toke so much time to create.
Why not create a HARD MODE for the people that is actually supporting the game every month buying skins and oil and everything else.
It feels like Yostar everytime a rerun is coming out or a new event that is as bad as this. The players that is supporting and playign the game a lot gets ignored.
We that goes after 100-150k points a event, even JP players take 150-175k points in a week. We gets so badly shiting on when you release a event like this.
Why not try to add in hard mode so everyone is happy.
This is a reason that could make me quite, I don't feel like playing when the event is this bad, when a normal chapter is better then the event.
It's not worth my time or anyone else time to go big dick on this kind of event where the mobs is level 75. Come on, i get 2 commander exp in each fight.

I'm at 130k + attacks so I would say I'm a guy that plays this game a lot, I don't really think you or me is happy when i do the event the 2 first day's then go back to 7-2 as it's more rewardening then a new event or a rerun that IGNORED everyone that is around level 100 commander and got ships in 120.
If casual should be happy then just add in that they gain 3x the event points in sp 1 to sp 5 first day they do them. And they should not have anything to complain over.
Don't ignor the player that loves the game as everytime a event like this is released you shit on us. You're are not rewardning us when we are supporting you and playing the game as much as we do.
Yostar you really should look at who people are playing you're game and then ask uself if it really good for players with 100x 120 ships and be a commander level above 120 to farm a event where a damn ZOMBIE fleet at level 70 can farm the event without any kind of problem.
It's stupid, it's waste of time both for you and me and EVERYONE else that plays the game on a bit of higher level.

Let me tell a Story why Azur Lane loses paying Customers because of bad Service Desk and selfish players that don’t want to follow unwritten Community rules. My name is S0LUT10N I was once a Person that called Azur Lane as the best Gacha game. I invested a lot of money into skins and oaths (several thousand euro) in the past was at 9 events at the top 30 ladder on Sandy Server. Everybody knowed me and respected me in my Guild on dev almost 10 and I had a own room where everyone knowed and respected me. I never changed HMS Hood as my Secretary and raised the Hood Cultism.She is still my everything and only reason I log into your game. One day after a break I came back to Azur Lane because I study informatics and Economics , have certifications in It project and service management. ( usual the perfect person to vote as community engagement lead because of qualification). And some random dude Giga Greg offended me and muted me for posting a Story about the Royal Navy and Kms that he don’t liked. Well after I got muted I muted him back by Guildmates. And the trouble began.. unfortunately...
People from a other room constantly muted me and once in the evening after my supporters left they telled my archievements in al are nothing worth and muted me again and again, again the following days and weeks. So I contacted customer support Yaru, to solve the problems. He told me to perma restrict or mute named players from Sandyserver (Frostine , AlleN). Because I’m a fair honorable person I still believed work out internal because I’m doing project and service management and I’m a social person. I telled them you stay please out of r3 to prevent any conflicts and I don’t will write to support. At the end AlleN faked screenshots or do some else dirty evidences that I got muted until 19.12.2020.
After that I tried everything for my image and the insults that came from people noticed that I’m helpless because of the support of Yostar Azur Lane. So I tried to get my guild and friendlist to solve this problems with people. But after some time people influenced em telled em that im only use em. So also my dev9 guild and old friendship became useless. After that I just don’t found any motivation to play a lot Azur Lane i lost my Status, my friend and my guild. But my pride I will take to Genshin Impact,Fate Grand Order , world of warships, girlsfrontline and promote these games. I even learn to illustrate fanarts but except of hms hood it’s not likely after such a large disappointment continue support such a Game with such Management that don’t care. Just wanted to tell that for people that noticed me on the server and tell em it wasn’t my fault I couldn’t say goodbye in a good way. It’s anyways useless except of oathing hood playing Azur Lane. That’s the conclusion after 1,5 good years. Thanks for anything it’s not a wonder anyone’s switch to genshin impact now even people like me.

Regarding an earlier comment.. why would "harder modes" appeal to people just cause we've been playing for a long time? I certainly don't want the game to get even harder and I've been playing for over a year and a half. I just wanna enjoy the stories, collect ships, and interact with the characters. I don't know how many others feel the way I do, but I also don't think nearly as many are begging for harder content as that person suspected.

Usually in Itil4 practice what i own a master degree, the service value chain is non existing in yostar inc. And this is common practice in big cooperations , i doing my practice at BMWgroup in germany. Why is their support more customer related? Just a thought and I don't know if it was already suggested but I had an idea of where you could change the music that's being played in the background while you're in the main menu screen to like Coeur, Blue Spirit, or any other official soundtrack within the game. For example, Bleach Brave Souls allows you to change the music that is being played in the background as you browse around in the game. Again, just an idea that I'd certainly enjoy because I'd love to hear Coeur's instrumental while doing things like looking at my dock, gear, missions, and things of that nature

I noticed that the SP fight reminded me of the SP map during the Shinano event with how you fight certain ships to get a full batch to pop up before the boss shows up

You know how in Shinano you had to take out the ships on the map to open up another part, to have the boss appear.
This time you take out the 3 elites to summon the 4 mob fleets, and then the boss shows up.

It feels different to what the older events were like in SP maps with it acting like a normal event map setup
Although I have to say I kind of like how they have the SP map setup as of late
