after 1.5 year of playing I've only received a single ship from it: Leander. Came from the lvl40 version too so it doesn't even guarantee the ships rarity

map drops aren't the same thing such as commission rewards. Afaik all commissions reward give what the icon shows if u score Perfect on it. The only exception to this is launch ceremony

I don't think it's just me who feels it but this game doesn't fit in the 12+ category considering some of the skins they have. In which case, they should be more flexible on naming limitations. and update whatever they use on in game chat cuz that doesn't work at all 
iirc using jp or at least some jp characters also counts as illegal characters so really, the whole naming system needs to be redone. 
All non alphanumeric characters are forbidden, including accented characters and kanji
I couldn't even rename "Emile Bertin" to remove "Retrofit" from her name because she has an accented e in her name. Had to get rid of that to make it work lol
Kanji isn't forbidden afaik, nor is katakana. Hiragana is however forbidden for god knows what reason. Got several ships named using those so I can confirm they do work unless they changed it recently

Piggybacking off of Yumemi's suggestion, a "mini game collection" building in the academy would be fine. Just let us select various mini games from events (or at least mini events) to play any time we want
Kinda sucks that the point rewards on SP3 are lower for the higher requirements Akashi questline than the Ryuujou part. Means you are forced to grind this subpar event exp for longer even if you already have Ryuujou

If you're saying you should get an equal amount of akashi coupons as J talismans, for one they use two completely different reward trees and for two you're already at an advantage in SP 3 as the levels for SP 3 are 68-76 for mob + 4 battles to level 80 boss while in world 8 mobs are level 79 and it's 5 battles for a level 80 boss. SP is easier.
Or just do a higher world than level 8.
Either way, all rewards above 10k are tryhard rewards. The event is balanced so that main reward at 10k is achievable even playing at a relatively casual pace, while the higher tier rewards are meant to reward more hardcore players but are correspondingly less unique/useful

So lower exp gain, same amount of battles, and less points
Then just grind outside SP3 
level 8-1 is better because you only need to do 4 clears for boss instead of 5 or 6

I am sorry if this was already suggested, but what about adding interactions between shipfus at dorm? For example they could exchange one liners. They could pretend that they are discussing something (showing emotes in clouds) or anything similar. Also, maybe one of them wave (or any other emote) to greet Commander.
In my opinion, this would add flavor and spice up experience, when you spend time at your dorm.

Gonna guess that since W13 introduces a new mechanic (command ships) it's considered to be slightly different than the previous 12 worlds and so they didn't extend the clearing mode to that world deliberately
if I have to guess, they prolly consider it as "challenging content for users" so don't want to remove ambushes since it'll impact difficulty in a big way
maybe after we get W14 13 will also be updated
Now that fleet lock is a thing, i think it would be pretty good to add a morale indicator at MVP screen where it shows the EXP gained. Right under the EXP bar, it should have another gauge of 0 ~ 150 where it shows the morale of the above ship.
there's some space above the character 'card' that you can sort of push up and add in the gauge, or below the dotted lines works too. Since heavy grinders can now grind a lot faster and have to constantly check for the morale of the ships on 2nd floor, this addition will make my life easier.
I also approve of some numerical indicator of ship morale post-battle

As a primarily PVE game I think a VIP system is fine provided that the perks aren't at the expense of other players (like priority login). Also especially if the VIP system gives you perks only related to purchasing (basically, in order to take advantage of the VIP system you would just have to keep spending money)

because we've had 3 updates in a row where sandy has been killed, each time requiring additional time to get it back up and running. each time it got worse, meaning this time it fully broke to the point where the server needed a full overhaul.

Extend time crunch events when maintances extend too far, 5 cubes does not compensate for all the downtime

i feel like the ability to hold 10 pvp entries was to safeguard against situations like this, and not to facilitate sandbagging, so if you lost your pvp entries from trying to sandbag i dont really think the devs care at all lol
well, 10 tries is just 2 resets - 1 when you were sleeping, then 1 when maint started and then in this case we got more maint until another reset for a total of 15, so...

I strongly dislike Maritime Escort maps. The transport ship doesn't really "tell" you which direction it intends to move. Which twice resulted in the fool thing running into a mine when it moved in the direction I hadn't cleared in advance. (Both times in different directions at that, so it wasn't even consistently stupid!)
A simple arrow on the ship's tile telling you "I'm moving this way next" would do much to alleviate this annoyance of idiocy

while I agree with dranikos's suggestion, it actually does have a set path (at least in CE3) and if you know what it is you can guarentee a clear with 20/20
That only works if you already know the path however. I did not, and there's no logical way in game to know it in advance for the first run.

Highlighting the path in advance, or a simple arrow would both make that less of an issue. (Heck, if it's always following a set path and I'm supposed to escort it, wouldn't Naval HQ tell me the path in advance? Fridge Logic dictates that it makes less sense for me to not have that information before going into the mission.)
to be fair there is a logic behind movement (sirens, your fleets, etc) and it's noticeable enough that you could figure it out by just observing
however in CE3 the fleet your protecting actually breaks this logic so it caught me off guard the first time I ran it anyways. I'm still agreeing that it should be displayed but there are ways to make guesses (even if they end up being wrong)
Yeah, that's what I was doing, was guessing. I'm just annoyed I was wrong twice given my perfectionist nature. (And the fact that an open path existed that would have gotten the ship to the end with 0 damage taken instead of 4.)
Semi-Related topic, I feel that the fleet formation screen could use some form of display to let you know when your fleet is stuck at Move 2 (instead of 3) in Movement Limited situations. (One of my two fleets being Move 2 was an unpleasant surprise, though admittedly I should have foreseen it. Thankfully said fleet was Fleet 2, which I didn't need to use anyway.)
I'm a big fan of increasing information available to the player, clearly. But those are my 2 main pieces of feedback. A Movement Limit display (in formation, or when picking fleets for a map) and some way to know where the Transport is going during Maritime Escorts.
Similar to the stat totals at the top of the fleet formation screen, maybe they could add a "stat" for MOVE i.e., the number of squares your fleet can move in maps where movement is limited
Exactly. Though some solution would also be needed for Hard Modes where you pick each ship manually rather than a pre-formed fleet from your formation list.
I know Movement is supposed to be derived from the "Speed" stat, but given that Speed is also a stat hidden from players, that can be unhelpful at times. (For example, nowhere in game is it listed that Avrora and Yat Sen are Speed 19, making them the slowest Vanguard ships. With only a handful of truly outdated Main Fleet girls, like the Monitors, being slower)
So, to a certain extent, just listing the Speed stat for ships would be enough (and making it clear that, as is logical, you're limited by the slowest ship in the fleet. It's not a total or an average or an aggregate, it's the lowest score among the fleet)
Not sure if this is the right place for this but will this feature ever be finished? The "Coming soon" is there for quite the long time now ^^' (to the point i completely forgot this thing existed until I decided to do all my Retrofits)

raising all ships contributes to fleet tech which is the goal
That got boring very fast as its barely noticeable compared to for example unlocking a new shipfu/Gems/Dorm furniture/gear etc.
In fairness, most of the new Shipfu aren't great gameplay wise (Ayanami being an obvious exception)
That said, I did enjoy the thematic elements of the collections (like the "First Carriers") more than just the mindless "Max them out" grind for Tech Points if I'm being honest. So I'm also a bit sad to have seen that tabled in favor of just mindless grinding for tech.

- Add more normal "historical" nation chapter, while present chapter is againts japan ships, add more chapters for againts german, america, british, italia, russia, etc

Other normal chapters is 2-1-1 to .... , 3-1-1 to .... , etc

Example : ijn chapter 1-1-1 enemies is lvl 1

It seems to me that the mechanics of gaining experience by ships need to be improved ... Sorry, but English is not my native, so I will write as primitively and simply as possible:
We have LB and the mechanics of awakening.
Because of these mechanics, ships cannot grow above certain levels and gain experience from commissions. Several times I was bitterly mistaken in this mechanics (I sent a level 80 ship on a mission for 18,000 experience and only after a minute or at the end remembered that my ship had insufficient LB for this, so I got 0 experience from mission instead of 18,000.
Today, I was faced with a completely absurd situation, when I had 2 level 99 submarines on the mission, they both sat in the dorm, one of them got level 100 until the end of the mission, and the second did not. And so the submarine, which had level 100 at the time of the end of the mission, got 0 experience from the mission, and the second got level 100 and 17 thousand experience over it.
The game has a mechanic that allows ships to gain experience from battles, even if they have an insufficient level of awakening. Is it possible to add the same mechanics to missions?
Also, while I was writing this, I remembered another problem.
In the game, if you are too lazy, you can click on the “Recommended” button and the game itself will pick up your ships for the mission, this mechanics works fine .... until you upgrade all your ships to level 70+. This is where the problems begin. The game starts picking up ships with a low LB that don’t get experience from the mission, so you either have to agree to this or go manually to search for suitable ships ... Is it possible to change this mechanics so that the game picks up ships which will gain experience from the mission?
I also have a suggestion for improving the “Has Retrofit” filter, when you apply this filter, it filters the ships only by level, which causes some inconvenience, because ships of different rarities require different levels for a retrofit, so you need to look for ships that have not yet reached the maximum leveling of retrofit ...
My suggestion: Let the ships without full retrofit appear at the top of the list, and the ships with full retrofit at the end (as it happens for example in the ship skill leveling menu when ships with the max skills are at the end of the list).
And a couple of small improvements that I would like to see in the game...
Between major events, I begin to accumulate gold, which has nowhere to spend (buying cats or gold boxes for 25 thousand or improving the equip on ships that you don’t play, I consider it a stupid waste of money), at the same time there comes a time when your merchant reaches a limit of 10 000 and you begin to worry that you are losing money, which you must constantly spend on “improving” your account (ships). At the moment I made the maximum retrofit to almost all my ships, there are only a few ships left that will be finished in a month and I will constantly have a problem with an overabundance of money. Could you add the opportunity to buy food for a dorm for gold? Also buy oil for gold, these would be reasonable ways to spend extra money.
A few months ago I reached the maximum leveling of one of my ships (120 level 3 million experience), then there is no further accumulation of experience. Could you add some analog of free experience from World of Warships so that you can play on your level 120 ships and use your extra experience to improve your other ships? Yes, we have a Lecture Hall, but this is not what I propose. These two systems can work in parallel. Lecture Hall for ships of level 100-120, free experience - “content” for ships of level 120.
Or like.. ships that have 120 3Mil can get exp as an item that can be used on a lower level ship to level it up to some point but I think that's a very different kind of leveling up
It has been suggested to make the "advice" button on commission smarter in choosing ships (avoiding level capped ships)
It has also been suggested to have a "retrofit" filter
And your issue with gold is kinda unusual, since there are far more complaints about not having enough gold
Because research consumes an extraordinary amount of gold
Doing that should solve your "too much gold problems"
It has been suggested to make gold convertable to oil in some form
And the lecture hall is already a sufficient feature regarding excess exp being given to other ships, no reason to add more really

I'd like to see an added "faction" to the Fleet Technology mechanic to give use to Tech Points originating from the "Minor" factions (Parliament, Iris, Vichy, etc) as currently the only benefits to these ships are the stat boosts for having them at all and for reaching 120. Meaning there's a big gap where they contribute nothing to the mechanic. Take, for example, Sovetskaya Rossiya. In theory she's worth 196 Tech Points to max out. In practice, because those points don't contribute towards any of the 4 existing pools, she's worth 0.
This could also be used for the minor event variants like the Polaris Muse or the younger versions like Akagi Chan or Zeppy. Given those variants DO count for / against 100% roster completion, but do NOT contribute anything at all to Fleet Progression. (Collaboration ships, being excluded from counting towards 100% roster, would still be excluded from Tech progressions)
Another option would be to have each "minor" faction contribute their points towards a Major faction they have some ties to. By way of example, Vichy points might count towards the Ironblood pool. Or Dragon Empery might count towards the Royal Navy.

Yes, I know about research, but this does not solve my "problem" with gold. Food / oil for gold would solve this problem.
The Lecture Hall does not solve the problem with extra experience:
- Limit on ship classes on a specific day. You cannot train your bb for a entire week. Only on the day when you have the right "teacher".
- You cannot send 1 ship to receive all 57 thousand experience for training, it receives only part of the experience, if it is one, you are forced to send 5 ships so that they receive 11 thousand... experience?
- It also has a tight time reference, you can start training only 2 times a day (well, if you're a little tricky, you can run 3 times a day for the ship you need
- You cannot train a ship at the same time in a dorm and at the lecture hall.
- And this also does not solve the problem with level 120 ships with 3 million experience cap.
Well, this is not a problem that interferes with your game, but it is more a psychological problem. When you play a ship and understand that it does not get absolutely anything in battle, except for 20% of the experience for the LH, which you do not really like.
the idea of the 3 million level cap is to make future levelling past 120 easier
the additional 3 million was the solution made to the problem of not being able to level past a certain cap
I mean, the 3 million stored EXP is still basically just a 3 million EXP buffer from the original problem of "what do you do with EXP after a ship has maxed out?"
It doesn't really solve the core issue, it just delays it
I do not think that developers need to make ships above level 120, level 120 is enough ... Look at World of Warcraft, which is faced with the problem of too high levels.
Developers can do chapters above 13 with different mechanics, but not by raising the level ...
Also the conversion of proficiency to EXP is kind of garbage. It's better than nothing, but I find that the dorm is more efficient. First of all, I'd like to thank the devs for (finally!) giving us clearing mode on normal non-event maps. This is a big step towards making the game truly user-friendly.
Now, my two salty cent on the PR research system (I should have done it before).
My main issue with PR system (apart from mixed research projects, which is, honestly, a b**ch move towards new players) is that there's gear that doesn't belong there. Example: gold twin 410mm main gun, also known as "the confetti gun". The worst super rare event gear, the worst gear overall in the game. Literally no player ever uses it for serious play. During autoplay it gets even worse, it's that bad. Yet someone thought that putting it into both research systems is a good idea!
There is a 138.6mm DD gun (which people kept grinding round the clock, me included), a High Performance Fire Control Radar, a Vought F4U Corsair (best all-purpose fighter there is). All these are event locked, the last two were single instances in Fallen Wings event, which only happened once in the Global and probably never reruns again (why, I'm curious?). Where are those? Why not put only actually useful gear in such a resource-heavy game system? Not to forget that free projects now don't even give a guaranteed drop.
Suggestion: Implement an option to disable the tips on how to improve our fleet after we lose a battle. Veterans definitely don't need this tip. An option to turn it off and on in the settings screen would be appreciated

Maybe some form of skip/sweep in game for stages (normal/hard/event etc)? just asking as someone who sometimes dont play for x days due to work and would want to use all the oil that hits the limit every time. For example to unlock this option for x stage players would need to 3star it + lower the threat level to 0 but using this option would eat oil as if someone was clearing the stage fully to get the star for "defeat all enemies" and maybe ~100 gold per sweep +2 min real time for 1 stage to get swept/skipped to not make it select stage>sweep>get easy gold for something

To be fair I read the patch notes and almost forgot about it too yesterday. The fact that the 3 icons looks really alike doesn't help at all. Either change the icons to be more noticeable or add a ping like suggested could be welcomed.
When it's a daily routine to see this whole screen multiple times a day, it's very easy to just miss it because it doesn't stand out at all.

I have recently got into submarines and I also noticed Koln Retrofit has a skill for fighting submarines, while the skill itself is good the fact that the Flettner Fl 282 Kolibri is locked behind an event which is very unlikely to be rerun anytime soon. Im not asking to rerun that event I am asking that the Flettner Fl 282 Kolibri be put in another place for players to get when they get to farming it.
@normal vine Yes, because developers often use these buttons to send us to the event maps, which I usually open through the battle menu (I have such a habit).
And I also don’t like reading patch notes, I like to explore everything in the game by clicking on the buttons, but yesterday I went to the events menu and there was such a tab “Hibiscus-scented idol” (in which the buttons are mixed up by the way), and when I pressed there on the "Mission" button, the game opened me an event map of Ryuujou event, so, I thought that the Escort button does the same thing as often happens in a game.
Well, also yesterday was a very bad day in the game, and a huge number of missions were added to the missions tab, so people (like me yesterday) could have no time or energy to look for some additional event buttons. Because the game started to work when I already had time to go to sleep. 
In any case, all such events should have a ping for new content, because when there was Polaris event, you had to damn 3 times to watch the ping from the girls instagram: first she wrote a post and you got a ping, then that she answered you comment and you got a ping, then you again received a ping without any action, it was damn annoying. Really after this it was impossible make ping for this button "Escort"? 
Not sure how many people ask for this a day, but can we at least know what rates drop only ships have to drop on a map. Not knowing the drop rate is infuriating and makes the game experience worse. Even if the rates are shown to be absurdly low, it would at least be a hint at how long you can expect to grind for a drop. The recent maps in ch11 and I’m sure beyond that have had less ship drops in general making the already low drop rate seemingly worse. Boss only drops are not really my complaint because they are only attainable once per map run. Drops like Agano and Sendai are annoying because the should be able to drop anywhere and yet I only get them on boss nodes. I’ve only ever gotten one drop ship on an escort fleet and that was the 7-4 IJN carrier. I’m not asking for a change in drop rates, I only ask for the rates to be known.
Devs are aware that the rates are hidden and that people want to know them.

I’m just stuck on 11-2 after getting 4 or more drops of the other SIX elite drops on that map, but Agano still isn’t there after over 300 attempts

Not really... Look at event build, some ships have 2% drop rate, yet you can get them in 2 cubes or 600, it's just rng. You can't really gauge anything, especially for Elite and higher rarity ships, because they would have that kind of drop rate 
Just as an example, I got 3 Niizuki these past 3 days. My first 3 actually, because I didn't get one in one entire year of 9-4 farm, and not occasional farm, I farmed it a lot. 
Drop rates are server side, devs chose not to release them on purpose
It'll only create more frustration for players
And I'll note that when you have percentage - people tend to think game owes you that thing after so many runs/pulls

Looks like it's working as intended, though. You switched from one PR ship in development to another in development, something the game tells you very clearly will trigger a 24-hour cooldown period.

Current escort missions are in desperate need of some sort of notification when they're available. I keep forgetting about them when they're just an icon on the screen. many people go to event menus not through main menu icons but through various other ways so some sort of a reminder would be very appreciated 
Just my random concern, maybe unfounded but:
We have had three major events (Polaris, Russia) and now this after a 2 week hiatus... Not sure how reasonable it is in terms of gold bulins to get the medal especially if there's 3 SSRs
For one, Polaris didn't have a chat border and it was delayed due to the virus outbreak
So if you went to MLB all the ships there, it's not the fault of the Devs
And there is a 2 week break where you can get 2 from weeklies, at least 1 from medal exchange and 1 from PvP
And more during the event period itself
So it is perfectly reasonable
There's one in current saratoga event too

For two, it's not even everything that's rolling back, it's rather inconsistent if anything
That's because the rollbacks are caused by the server disruption and not something the devs are trying to do to fix it
If you are experiencing issues, you can contact support and tell them what you've lost
And hopefully they'll be able to give it to you back

I'm not sure if it's been suggested yet. But, I want an EXP (ship level, not skill) consumables for all ships please. With all new ships coming out, I couldn't keep up with commissions and dorm leveling. So, an EXP consumables would be amazing to instantly level your shipgirls.
If that's too much to ask. How about a new commission that rewards more EXP but requires higher ship level (maybe lv100 min) and the duration will be longer.
On the contrary, in my humble opinion, it is one of few things that is actually super fun to me. What I mean is levelling your favourite shipfu from the start, to finish. Now, I know that many players don't have much time to sortie a lot, but this is why dorm/commissions/lecture hall is for.

I do agree that leveling ship girls from about 110 to 120 is quite a slog (I just farm 12-4 over and over again but it still takes forever). A super commission or something where you can only bring girls that are level 100+ but for EXP would be nice

Honestly, skipping all the trash nodes. It's just so tedious having to click through 6-7 nodes before hitting the 1 Boss node that you're looking for... doing this 60+ times just kills my motivation to play.
I would like to be able to just skip all that shit like in Hard Mode... just being able to hit the boss fleet right out of the floodgate.

The compromise given already is in the form of danger mode where allies do more damage and enemies do less, and the fleet lock which removes the formation screen and now the clearing mode which removes ambushes so you can run fleets without high evasion more freely without worry
It's just in the nature of gacha games to be grindy really
And given AL's "stamina" mechanic can be practically infinite if used right, it's an appropriate balance
I can definitely see those mechanics as helpful, but I also can't help but feel the game has gotten significantly more tedious since starting on launch. Especially since the trash node count seems to scale higher when the difficulty bar rises. I don't mind the difficulty and the mechanics to address difficulty, but they don't really tackle that core tediousness from having to do 7 nodes before hitting the actual prize. Those are just my thoughts.
Maybe taking out trash nodes completely is an extreme request, but putting a low cap on how many trash nodes one needs to face after DL0 seems like a fair resolution... I know you say the trash nodes appearing in such numbers gives an appropriate balance, but I do think there is a limit to that... and AL seems to have passed it. At the very least, I notice my desire to really even open the game has taken a significant hit thanks to the trash nodes... My boats are able to do W13 content without issues, so I can tell it's not difficulty I'm concerned with. Anyways, wanted to voice that... I didn't know if it would be taken as feedback, but I wanted to voice it nonetheless.

QOL suggestion: for maps like 3-4(that drops an SSR ship with super low chance) , after doing such map for 1000 time , it becomes like hard mode(only boss appear) but the boss requires 3x or 4x oil, this'll help unlucky people only , I can say I'm on 2000+ runs rn 3-4 , still no akagi , so something like this will help a lot

It would be a welcomed addition to have a firing range/target practice mode that costs 0 oil to enter and has a practice dummy with a ton of HP to shoot, shell and torpedo strike. Just to test out your ship formations and synergies.

Have a "test damage" map that we can control every stat off and manipulate any stats or what not for damage testing and flexing. Brave Frontier has something similar to this suggestion, and Fate/Grand Order had limited events and competitions for players to compete.

What if when you filter ships by retrofittable it sorts them in ascending order by number of incomplete nodes (such that completed retrofits are at the beginning), with a sub-sort by level or rarity so that you can tell when you get to the ships that aren't complete
Or just add a sort option separate from the filter option that does that and shoves ships without retros at the bottom

There are no ambushes in SOS missions, so they've always been in "Clearing Mode".
Clearing mode includes fleet lock as well now, so they're not quite there yet

When your fleet move from node to node, there's no way of stopping the movement so this could be inconvenient especially if you misclick some node that you are not intended to go.
So if you can stop while moving from node to node, things could've more convenient

I wasn't affected by the rollback issue so I don't particularly care in this instance but I hope completely useless compensations will not become the new norm. The people most likely and heavily to be affected by interruptions are people committed to the game and playing a lot, ie the same group of people that most likely are clearing the event shops or at least clearing it of anything valuable anyway. Event points mean nothing.

This could be a little bit excessive laziness suggestion: Can we have a sweep button for all stages in all modes (except storyline hard-mode) after we have reduced the threat level down to 0
And there are 2 kinds of sweep: one is all-out sweep mode, which means you will clear all enemy nodes on and will appear on the map, The second one is swift sweep mode, by mean that you will only focus clearing all enemy nodes at the minimum amount until the boss node appear. Two of them in one push in the button cause i seem the current method of farming is a little time-consuming.

I would like to have the 'super-duper fleet lock' mode, so all the animations in the map like radar, sub fleet attack, movements and other stuff were skippped. You just see a map, click on the node, and the battle begins right away. After the fight you're on the map again, the new nodes are already here without shit. OR. Just skipping subs attack animation and accelerate the movements would be neat.

They consistently release new skins for girls that are unavailable. Otherwise, devs are aware that people who do not have the girls of said released skin want said girl.
Most skins of the sort (Baltimore in this case) are both of a relatively (few months) old event and can have a reasonable expectation to be rerun soon. FW has been run once on both JP and EN and Minne was only available in that version for CN - she’s only ever been available once with no word outside. That’s the problem here. It’s locking new advertised content solely to legacy players who may still not even have her or may have scrapped her
If you just want another feedback which I repeat in here often, why did it take us this long to get the Hatsu and Amazon retro’d? They’re not game breaking. Both ships are still t3 at best. Other servers had them months ago and they’re not tied to an event
Same thing with other ships/skins such as Swiftsure and the other Memphis skin that even TW is getting before EN
There is a decided lack of consistency and the devs keep saying they want to be consistent without actually doing anything to promote it

You can always turn off fleet lock right before you attack the boss, and then flip auto off on the preview screen

Would it be possible to look into being able to select what art shows on the main screen when we log in, obviously this would be overwritten by event main screen and other special screens.

having the selected title screen be overwritten by an event screen would mean you only get to see your selected screen maybe once every 2 weeks.

So in many other games, after you download voice pack, most games updates voicepack along with the game client every time you get patch, automatically.

I am commenting it in a good favor. I would like to ask devs to make extra reviews of maintenance, new skin/ship presentations, and event posts. I feel like random typos in those posts are happening too frequently, and it may be received as rushed, or what's worse- unprofessional. It creates unnecessary fuss, which then needs to be resolved (consumes time anyway). Typos do happen, we all do make mistakes, but please look into it.

I honestly can't remember if I said this already but Karlsruhe retrofit's chibi has one turret too many. It's not a super important detail but in case someone get's bothered by it. Some other ships probably have this sorts of mistakes too

Hmm.... maybe it could give you an additional download prompt like where it has the "download additional data" to say something like "There are XX MB of new audio files" with "download now" and "download later" buttons, and do something similar with L2D

Tbh I'm not sure Yostar is confident enough in the duration of maintenance to add such a thing, since it could end earlier or later than the timer rendering it pointless and misleading

honestly the timer can be extended or shortened as needed, so we at least have some general info about when login is available again. i know several games with a timer on the loadscreen it shouldn't be that complicated to add it and modify as needed if an extension is due
it's still easily misleading, and would serve to frustrate people when the devs decide they need more time and add to the timer rather than be helpful
at least add a time they started. as it's always stating the same amount of time which is more misleading i usually log in around 9am local time or 1pm and still don't know what time it started. so the first time you log in and see yea 10h mainentance may as well be till 11pm or smth like that in your local time

You know, there are ton of applications which you can set to display 2 or more different time zones at the same time. Even my native clock app can do that thing too.
i know but it's more comfortable to be able to see it in game instead of having to tab out and such. it's just quality of life stuff which is nice to add. same goes for the go to the Facebook/Twitter page for more info instead of an easier way which immediately displays infos on the login page. i don't use Facebook and i don't wanna unnecessarily start another app to check on the game status i rather just continue playing something else and just check in way later.

Can devs change something about how post maintenance goes? The entire time i've been playing, servers go down after maintenance without fail.

This is notably a issue that's only occured during the last 2 updates when the server traffic increased as a result of the various lockdowns around the world
suggested it before, suggesting it again, but I'd really appreciate if the devs could move every other update to 12:00 server time, so it's not always Eurasian players getting shafted

Considering the server issues these past few updates and the fact that people haven't been able to play for several days in some cases, a suggestion for how to mitigate the impact of this would be to extend the event periods from 2 weeks to 2 weeks + several days
once again, lexington wasn't really having problems and gets shut down because of other servers

I think the developers are well aware of a variety of methods they could use to fix this issue

On april 2nd 2019 i posted some feedback about the game getting more and more buggy and it impacted my enjoyment of the game, back then i was wishing for more quality control. Over the course of this last year, the quality of the game has just gotten worse and worse.
To be extremely honest, i have lost faith in the developers,the game went from mostly working fine a year ago, to glaring errors (missing art like with Dido's event) which could be caught if they playtested before releasing the patch, to now server issues and rollbacks for days. How can a game go from mostly fine, to so extremely rough around the edges that im feeling like the devs dont treat their own game with respect, and im playing some kind of experimental alpha build.
The reason why i have lost faith is that every time a person here made note of it, they were told the feedback was relayed to the devs and the game just got worse and worse instead.

this is a prime example why you shouldn't even let everyone try to log in at the same time on yourside. just add a queue or simply stop players from logging in for a minute or two with an ingame message saying so. plenty of solutions to alleviate this problem thats been ongoing for so long, but thats the most simple way that is basically guaranteed to help
I think this is a special situation as the impact of the corona virus has heavily driven up internet use worldwide resulting in widespread connection issues both specific to the game and also in general to the internet at large.
Surely there have been some issues in the past but I think the current situation is extenuating circumstances
yes the current situation is affecting it and why this time it isn't as big of a problem. but this has been going on almost every patch sinnce the UI update. which was long before corona pandemic
Honestly haven't encountered any noticeable issues before the pandemic. There were occasional maintenance delays yeah but when maintenance was done it was done
- Adding New UI
- Ignoring Dorm and Cats
tbh I always had network errors after maintenance for around an hour so i think doing a login queue would be optimal
theres literally no reason not to implement traffic alleviating systems like log in queues.
Corona isn't really a valid excuse. You should know the player count and be prepared for incidents like those
not only is the server still not stable, I also got rolled back losing all new gacha ships. very epic
Actually, I noticed some performance issue a few months after the new UI. However, the game had improved prior to the "Under the Mist" update.
Now it's just rollbacks and connection errors.
cursed so them not having all hands on deck to work on it and potentially working remotely isnt
@velvet adder probably just lost your stuff due to the same nnetwork errors not recognizing what happened with your account rather than a rollback. they uusually mention about rollbacks
Im also pretty sure they did implement an queue system, at least for avrora, so they might just be testing that out atm, before they rolll it out for other servers too
If you prepare properly you wouldn't have the issue of having to be there and working on it

You want a server to be able to withstand the entire traffic of a busy day + some more.
and that "some more" seems to be nowhere near enough

plus back when dido was an event ship, a lot of people posted dido's drop screen with just a white square, or some parts of texts that were not translated at all. i said a year ago that those things are easily preventable if they playtested before releasing

It's because I havent been able to login all day, and I have to work almost the rest of the day, and I've never missed a single day of logging in to the game...

Welp....seem like it did crashed. Overloaded servers tend to behave like that
in all honesty, this happens to any game with a large player-base if there has been an update that has taken multiple hours to be introduced
