Ambush shouldnt consume ammo, usually i got ambushed at my last bullet for boss and make me fail to fight boss
That's typically why you'll have 2 fleets, and balance oil cost vs firepower vs bringing more carriers or destroyers
It is annoying. But I'd say it is good that it does consume ammo. Because it both brings a degree of randomness and forces players to adapt
suggestion: In the Archives section make a filter so you can filter out all the ships you own so it just shows the ships you don't have

So, I want to report an "interesting" discrepancy and a recent change for worse in my opinion for Z35. The concern is with Affinity (Stranger) where the text ends with "would be me, Ms. 35" AFAIK this does not at all represent the JP ending and at the same time is worse that the previous ending of "would be me, Z35" This shows again a change for worse in the TL and as such I'd like it to be added on a translation feedback card somewhere if at all possible. I'd consider this quite severe since it shows the TL team localised a text for the worse during one of the latest patches
It would be a minor thing usually, but not only is an abbreviation used unnecessarily, but there is also a flavour and sentence pacing chage, albeit small

Especially after King George V releasing with a skill that increases her power if she is equipped with her historical 356mm gun, I think it would be nice for all ships to at least have some minor stat buff (not just a skill) if they are equipped with their historical loadouts.
That would make existing skills that do that pretty worthless

Granting widespread buffs to historical gear massively limits gear choice - if the buff is significant enough, you only end up running their own gear
And if it isn't significant enough, then one has to wonder the point as KGV doesn't even want to run her 356mm Quad without a maxed skill (and even then)

Miss 35 would be far better in terms of the TL. Like this, epecially with the weird capitalisation it is extremely confusing
I mean, if there are real number increases, that is not a placebo effect of any kind.
If the effect is so minor as to be insubstantial, given how some historical gear equals to terrible pieces of equipment, it may as well be placebo
And if the point is to just give support to the people who want to play the game that way, what would it matter if the increase is a "minor amount" to people doing insane levels of min/maxing?
KGV needs an entire skill to make the second worst BB gun in the game kinda sorta work, a minor 'historical buff' is very unlikely to be anywhere near enough to make atrocious gear viable
The issue with this kind of suggestion is that it runs the risk of either breaking the already precarious balance, or not really doing anything
For the people who just throw the best gear on regardless, there is nothing they can do to change that besides weaken and buff the individual gear. The point of my suggestion was for people, like myself, who enjoy the historical aspects of the game rather than simply min/maxing.

I mean, this will make NC, Washy, SoDak, Nagato, Amagi, Kaga BB and Mutsu even more broken if implemented
Plus you could argue the same for Hood (Advanced 15in), Georgia after we get her, Deutschlands and some UK DDs,etc.
Plus of course it breaks DDs if torps are concerned
Could even be the "buff", or however it is looked at, is only activated if the gear is blue quality or lower. Cause some historical equips are maxed out at blue. There is more than one way to support historical equipping while still making min/maxers have the best gear possible.

It would be "insignificant" to min/maxers, but they wouldn't be the target audience of it. As I also said, maybe even just allow blue quality gear to get to be enhanced to +10 as well.

Same could be said about marriage of multiple ships. So insignificant that it doesn't need to be there

Tell that to my ships that are pretty heavily gimped because I keep them historically equipped and the highest gear I can go is kinda crap. When a blue quality plane or turret is the highest I can go, like with Akagi/Kaga or even Portland, they are not the best they can be. Is my choice, but would be nice to have something that allows it while still being more viable, but not OP.

It actually does do that, but there's a bit of wankery to it -- if a ship is in a fleet for a saved hard mode level, it can't autofill commissions. So if you go back to old worlds and clear all of your old fleets out, that should help

How does the pvp refresh algorithm work? Would it be possible to make it so the leftmost opponent is always at least one rank above you upon refresh, unless you’re rank 1?
It should be that when you do a reroll of opponents, the left 2 are a higher rank than you while the right 2 are a lower rank than you, up to some particular range away of placement. But their rank can update as they complete exercises, which can cause things to look weird if you come back later. Or by "rank" do you mean, like, full on Placement ranks (colonel, captain, etc.)

Yeah, more often than not I’ll waste all my refreshes trying to get a single opponent to get +0 for the reset.. and sometimes it still doesn’t work and I end up eating a +9 or something
Potentially at play: I think there's a bug where there's a visual glitch, and while it says you gain +0 from a victory you are actually still getting points. Though again, I don't know if that's suddenly somehow different at top rank
Nah I meant plus points from the base amount, like right now most people are getting +10, so a +11 would be +1 and a +9 would be -1
and sometimes it still doesn’t work and I end up eating a +9 or something just to clarify, you mean the 1st battle of a reset where you're ranks apart from the one you're battling. Like say he's rank 50 and you're at rank 1k+?

Sorry, that was kinda vague. So sometimes I’ll have 6/10 exercises and I’ll wait to use them until I get opponents higher than me on the ladder. But refresh screws me over and I’ll have to fight someone lower than me or just end up wasting the exercise, which ends up in me getting +9 overall instead of the +10 I’d get if I refreshed into people higher rank than me.
Yeah that does kinda happen. Usually I wait a while and then relog in to the game to see if my opponents moved. Since if you stay logged in it won't update your rank and opponents.
Could make the suggestion to make sure that whenever you refresh it's always 2 people above your rank and 2 below, unless you're rank 2 or 1

is it me or bismark's skill "wahrheit" auxiliary CL gun is not working properly because on battle i cant see her spamming shots of her auxiliary weap (im using twin 127mm mk2 +10)
twin 127s are DD guns
it only works for guns of size 140mm or greater

Well the game does say "CL gun" and you can see if the weapon you're equipping is a CL gun by checking the ships that use said equipment

@mortal venture 90 range means she only fires at things within the white border of the screen - which is a lot farther than anyone else can shoot, but it's still not enough to contribute to the fight if the targets are beyond the white line

There may be a new feature where you cannot give more enhancements to a maxed ship, but either way I'd put this in bug reports, not here.

I think a really nice feature to add in the game would be a counter to see the amount of attempts on a a certain chapter node similar to how Girls Frontline shows how many times it was attempted.

It might only appear if you have something equipped in the gear slot. So if you didn't at the time of the limit break, that might be the reason why

Feedback: Variable gun firing angles for CL and CA guns (Plus supercruisers) Could be used to make certain guns more in line. Are you going to use the higher DPS gun, or the higher firing angle, slightly lower DPS gun?

I've come up with an idea to have presets for equipment
I'm sure someone else has ready thought of that but not sure if this was suggested. Basically you it's like with ships, the "fleet" is a preset you can select before a sortie but I'd like to see the same with ship equipment, so that it would be easy to switch for clearing SoS stages for example.

Yeah it's similiar in nature but on a greater scale. What I was thinking about is having equip presets on indidual ships but now that I think about it, the fleet preset makes more sense.

It would just save you the time of: setting up your fleet loadout-->remembering that you need to change their equipment to what you want for that fleet loadout-->having to go the docks to do all that-->then use that fleet loadout. This would just cut that process down for simplicity sake
Let's say I want a Yukikaze / Cleveland with standard gear, then I want another for Anti-Submarine.
In the fleet screen, you would have your fleet presets, then once you select your fleet, you would have another dropdown box where you select the kind of general equipment you would want for your fleet ( Standard / Anti-sub etc... )
And yes, it's just to save time from a basic fleet loadout, where you would still need to go onto each ship gear screen to change their equipment loadout
Here, everything would be centralized on the fleet screen.

Well kind of think of it like how exchange shops are open longer than the events themselves. They're just extending the exchange period for it. Is it really all that useful? Unfortunately not, but that's what the devs decided. It was more than likely just for extending the frame trade-in for the most part.

Well for the exchange shop I would say that it is useful in some ways ( the oil exchange being the biggest one ), for the dorm reward exchange, I see absolutely 0 point of extending the exchange only and not the dorm selling period.
It's kinda like they would extend the chat border exchange, but you wouldn't be able to Lb the ships needed after the 12th. Totally pointless

The trade part of the event being 7 days longer is a very nice feature when you forget you had more exchange points. I almost forgot to buy Kaga once
option to leave the "Notified" box ticked by default on daily notice, you would still see it at daily reset but wouldn't need to press the tiny button before exiting

Dear devs. Azur lane forces my phone to never go into stand by. Normally this isn't too much of a problem. But yesterday i fell asleep with the game on. But the game requires a lot of power so today I woke up and my phone is so incredibly hot that i can't touch it for more then a second or ill burn myself. The phone is cooled down now but my phone no longer boots up. So this game might just have killed my phone. And yes, that maybe wasn't careful of me but i also shouldn't expect that Azur lane would destroy my mobile device if my device is on for a few consecutive hours.
That sounds like more of a hardware issue than anything, tbh. Maybe it wasn’t cooled properly where it was sitting?
No because Azur lane is the only app on my phone since i bought it 3 years ago that can increase the temperature of my phone to a noticeable degree simply by being on.

For a lot of players that auto farm and would rather have a quicker time in farming, have an option for their fleets to stay on the same path and keep moving on it even after an random airstrike hits them. And for random Ambushes, have it to where the fleet will automatically...

I'll elaborate: the only tier 1 items are ship parts and tech packs. But things like skill books and retrofit parts start at tier 2, despite having no corresponding tier 1.
So maybe just call the white common rarity tier 0?

But skill books do have Tier 1, those are the blue (background) ones. Same for retrofit BPs, actually.
Yeah, but they're the blue rarity. So this builds up to the point where the 'SR' golden tier skill books and retros are tier 3, while the tech packs are tier 4
(There are mo golden ship parts)
Basically i believe tiers should be more consistent with rarity in order to cause less confusion
btw T0 is only used for Items with only 1 rarity

The tiering is used to show the "tier" of the item within its own class. A unique item will always be T0 since there's no other versions of it. Whereas a gold gear is t4 because there a white, blue, and purple version of it.
It's was not meant for you to compare different gears and items.
But to their point, it's inconsistent when there's gear that starts at blue, such that gold is T3. Or starts at purple and rainbow is T3
I don't know how they'd act on that without completely gutting & reconfiguring the entire equipment system but that's a different topic
That's how it works, it ranks the tier of each item across others rarities. If it starts at purple then purple will be t1, gold t2, and so on.

But when I press either after the loadscreen it kicks me out and says azure lane has stopped working. Fix this please, really getting annoyed with all these stupid kinks in this game.

Then I deleted the game and reinstalled and now it kicks me out claiming azure lane has stopped working. It must be a problem with the new playstore version. But I know it's not me since it worked just before I deleted it.

Yes, maybe be able to start more sorties. I sometimes could use it.... But it is rather specific (I'd use it when farming some events and suddenly getting a research for boss kills on chapters)
I know the fill buttom for enchance is a new feature, but it needs some re-work, it currently target ships of the same type before trying to fill the stats needed.
for an example in this video, it first tried to fill it with 1 Oklahoma and 3 Nevadas (+236 FP +36 RLD) and them filled it with 1 Cygnet and 1 Crescent (+8 FP +44 TRP +26 RLD) all on the first click of the "fill" buttom, so while the ship only needed +30 FP +35 TRP +30 RLD the fill buttom tried to feed it +244 FP +44 TRP +62 RLD.
In the video you can see that i removed the 3 Nevadas, making it give only the necessary stats, but when i removed Crescent making it needing more TRP and RLD, instead of filling it with a DD, the game filled it first with a BB for the missing RLD and them added a DD for the missing TRP.
I think the auto fill should check the stats needed, not the ship type and fill it with ships of the same type first.

The event should last through June 12th, 11:59 PM PST, right before the server reset time. I might recommend trying to wrap up an hour before that, cause sometimes things can be a little wonky an hour before the reset

When you include something in the game, that will inherently mean people will want to earn said thing. This is how player behavior works, and this is at any level of game genre or type. You include a thing or new thing and players will want to go and earn it.
The chat icon is a new feature, but the first icon we are given to unlock is locked behind a RNG/Pay to Earn wall. Because it forces players to buy cubes with real money if they are either new or have no way of earning enough cubes prior to this event. It's worse that long time players (like myself) also have suffered before the last 3 events have been back to back and all had Build only ships. One was even a Collab that is not coming back (as collabs don't).
The event furniture is something I can get because you can earn a steady amount of tokens for it. This also goes for Merit amounts, both are something the player either has direct control over, or some control over. Putting the power in the players hands to go out and earn what they need.
But because earning cubes is entirely RNG (outside of the daily and weekly mission) the player has no idea if they'll earn enough cubes, or if those cubes will get the needed ships for limited event ships to drop. It's a layer of RNG on top of another layer of RNG, and all within a short time frame for the amount of needed criteria to be met.
The profile icon you have no idea if you'll even get because of the RNG Wall they've shoved it behind and it's a great way to heavy handedly make players spend real money on gems to then buy more cubes. It's a destructive cycle.
Do you NEED to buy cubes? No, but just like you don't NEED to play the game. The feature is there, but when you have event tasks like this, where it's two layers of RNG stacked on top of one another, and all after three major events that back to back with not enough time to recoup cube stores, buying cubes with real money becomes mandatory. AKA, heavy handed business tactics.
I'd really appreciate it if the devs never did this sort of event task again. The "Unlock all ships and fully limit break them in a limited amount of time" thing. It's destructive, discouraging and a great way to burn your players out. Not encourage them to keep playing but discourage them.
I think I'd be more accepting if we could at least have been given other avenues to earn the needed ships. The merit system worked fine, we even had a map drops which also meant you had other avenues to choose from. Which event map drops have become almost nonexistent in recent events.
Even events having all three options would be better then what we have now. Putting the power in the players hands is always the best choice, but forcing their hand like this event is how you lead to player burn out and people quitting, which means less money in the devs pocket.

I don't see how the chat icon is different than literally every single timed build ever. You either get the new stuff or you don't. Drawing the line at a chat border to chat with a bunch of people spamming yeptune seems like a weird hill to die on. I could see it with being upset at not getting one-time event ships like the Kizuna collab, but the chat border, really?

Choosing what ship you're gonna build next is insane, even though I agree a safety net system would be welcomed. But that would be something that would require a fair amount of builds or whatever. 100 cubes just isn't enough for that in my opinion.

A safety net of some sort to keep players playing, interested and from burning them out would go a long way in keeping people around, keeping the game alive and even giving new players a sense they are catching up is always a healthier outcome for the game.

It's the event ships and the event items being locked him them is where I take issue. Again, layered RNG is incredibly toxic and destructive.
That's the thing, Azur Lane is already way better than its competitors in many areas, and in particular in the way it handles real money transactions. I can get that with the fast pacing of events lately, some of us have a hard time stacking cubes and pulling rare event ships, but it happens to everyone, that's the salt of this type of game.
Eventually, those ships will come back anyway, it's not the end of the line 
As of now, it's more of a pacing issue rather than a gacha issue, in my opinion.
I've seen too damn many F2P games die out or ruin their community because people got fed up with grind or RNG BS. War Thunder is on that track right now with some of the things Gaijin has been doing, and that's a PC/Console game. AL can be better, should be better. It's already doing well sure, but always room for improvement.

Well yes I exaggerated because you were kinda exaggerating yourself. You repeat how it would be good to make the game better and I told you that regarding the gacha, the game can hardly be better while still being reasonable for both the consumer and the devs, at least in my opinion. The little things that could be added was, as mentionned, a safety net system, and I agreed from the start for that, just not in the form it was mentionned at the beginning of the discussion.
So then again, if it's about that, you can just upvote the cards to help make the game better, as you want to do. 
Unless you have something else in mind, and in that case, just do a clear suggestion and a qualified person will make a feedback card about it.

Do not lock new featured content behind a layered RNG walls. The profile icon artwork is a new feature to the EN server (not sure if it is to CN and JP though) and as such players will want to earn it. That's the point of something new. You include it and players will want to go out and earn it. However when you lock it behind a layered RNG wall that's also on a time limit, then players become burnt out and end up either taking a long break from the game or just quitting out right. It harms the game in the long term.
This is all after we've had three major back to back events, one being a collab that (with what I've heard from many people) do not return, and two other events with all two of them being limited ship build events. This means cubes stores were already very low when the Bismarck event dropped.
The event furniture item is not a issue, since the player has some control over the outcome of earning decor tokens. Earning cubes outside of the daily/weekly are one of the layers of RNG, then you have simply earning the ships.
So either we have a safety net that someone else suggested, or do not make limited, timed event items be locked behind layered RNG walls.

The pacing is unlikely something the EN staff can change, but that's why I tried to provide alternative.

My stance is that SOS missions are both deeply unrewarding and also a pain in the butt to play, which is a bad combination. There needs to be something to make them less bad overall and an occasional blue blueprint isn't going to be it.

Currently SOS missions till W10 can drop anything including white rewards and World 10 still can drop blue. This makes some people not even waste your time and oil doing them. This can be improved and made more incremental with white drops stopping at, for example, W6 and W9 ...

not only do you need to pray to rngesus you also have to get X amount of ships to level 70, and if you don't have a fully upgraded dorm and are cmdr lvl 70 that's a pain in the ass to do.

I second this. I get that those rewards must be challenging in some way, but max limit breaking every event ship to get it is not really the kind of challenge that I, personally, would find appropriate. Something more related to a grind system or just related to battles in general to reward players that play and invest more would may be more interesting.
A mix of multiple missions, kinda like the weekly ones but harder/longer. ( Defeat X Siren, Do X sorties, that kind of stuff. Could even skip some of those missions if you manage to beat EX Hard, would reward people that can actually beat it without taking away the possibility of those who can't to get the reward. )
Could just go FGO route and have a "welfare" event ship, kinda like how sandy is atm or a reward ship like the usual other events and have missions revolving around said ship.

And for the hard mode, it is already a very limited thing ( even more now ), so having to raise a ship and do hard mode with it 12 times ( which means 4 days in a row ) either you have to wait even more days to raise the ship to be at a correct level to do a decent hard mode, or you have to go to a lower map, which is a no. Hard mode is already limited, don't want to waste it.
And now imagine that, but with multiple ships, because that kinda is what we're talking about. 
Even the dorm thing is not tied to EX anymore, they only did it once if I remember correctly.

It also depends greatly on the EX. Winter Crown's one was tied to a dorm thing, but the EX wasn't that hard. This one with Bismarck tho, it's a little bit different 
also yes, thats the plan, you do it over the course of 4 days. What's so wrong about that? Hard mode atm is only at world 6 and you can finish that shit with a 1:1 fleet depending on your ships. I agree EX would be too difficult, even some veterans dont do it

Well as I said, imagine having to raise the ship in question to do hardmore ( it's map 7 atm by the way ) even if it's not that difficult, you still have to do it. Let's say you raise her Lv 60 or 70 ( that's the lowest I tried for W7 with Monty and she wouldn't survive in auto ) then only can you do the hard mode. Would take more than 4 days for only one ship, at least at the beginning of the event.
Then you have to repeat for the other sips. And what if for some reason you can't get one of the ship needed in time ? You wouldn't get the thing because you have to grind in 4 days no matter what, can't be faster even if you invest a lot.
I'm really not fond of this personally.

The thing is you're either gonna raise them to a certain level so they can hold their own or you bring an overpowered fleet to compensate. What matters is that you get the ship involved, in this case, just bringing them to the battle is enough
Well I don't really know how it works exactly in FGO but here I would find it weird. Having to bring a ship just to let it die, might as well not bring it. I'm sure we could find something more ... productive for the missions.

And also as a tidbit for the HM order, there actually is a workaround for that, but not exactly straight up changing their order. If you fill in all the slots for a ship, then remove one, that ship's slot is moved to the back. So you can manipulate the order of the fleet that way

btw guys, I just saw the update regarding Duke of York and the other Winter's Crown event boats, could you make it so there's no ticket system and allow people to just farm as long as they can, sorta making it like the Fox Mines, except it'd be Vampire mines. It'd be nice, only being able to farm 1 hour 30 minutes a day is very demoralizing for us fellas who go ham farming boat drops, if it takes you sometimes one whole week farming 6 hours a day, imagine cutting that down proportionally to 1 hour 30 minutes a day, it'd take 1 month of daily farming to get her. I've been thinking, why not use locked ships with zero experience for commission "recommend" feature? Like surely if you locked a ship you would want to level it up. Without this I personally forget about new ships I get and have to cancel an ongoing commission to add these ships because when my hands automatically click buttons I don't even think about ships.
It's probably because there isn't a proper way to interact "Recommend" with "Locked" (at present) and so instead check if it has either 0 XP or is level 1 -- not to say they couldn't add that in, of course
yeah I understand why 0 XP ships aren't being considered - nobody wants to level up duplicates (unless locked that is, and that's exactly what I mean)

Skills like Lucky E, Raid Carrier, etc state they deal double damage, but actually deal +100% damage - Kizuna CV is the only one who deals true double damage
However, +100% vs x2 would affect behaviour with Adequate Ammo buff and 0 ammo debuff
As an example:
Enterprise Lucky E: 210% on Adequate, 150% on 0
VS CV AI conditional Raid Carrier: 220% on Adequate, 100% on 0
As a result, I'm wondering if the wording on those skills should be fixed, as they currently imply behaviour like that of CV AI instead of +100%

The submarine system, while it has potential and it can be useful in certain scenarios, has problems due to its limiting principles. As an example, depending on where they spawn or where the enemy spawns, their hunting range effectively makes them unable to assist at all, not to mention alot of the boss spawns seem to be outside of their hunting range. The other issue is the target selection, oftentimes they'll pick targets you're not interested in and there's no way to stop them short of switching to support mode. But even then they might still insist on going after the target they previously went after.
My suggestion would be two-fold. For the Hunting range, there should be a mechanic allowing you to reposition your submarine fleet. Possible ways would be to either have an x-times per sortie limit on how many times you can reposition the fleet, or to have the player pay a cost in either ammo or oil. That would fix the hunting range issue and allow a degree of planning, since you can then choose to either reposition your fleet to better support against the trash mobs, or reposition them once the boss fleet spawns.
For the target selection, what would be nice is if there was a "target designation" command which would force the submarine fleet to target a specific fleet within their hunting range. That way you can control what kind of fleets you want to fight instead of having the AI pick whatever the scripts designate them to do.
Hm...the only thing I would be wary of is that while the submarines aren't incredibly useful, they're still free percentage damage to enemy fleets and giving too much freedom with that could cause issues 
But, I'll go ahead and add it for now and it can be changed later if need be

- Exception: Command skills of different prefix name (XXXX Command: YYYY) will stack with each other.
Example: If you Artillery Command: Cruisers (Cruisers firepower +15%) and Tactical Command: Cruisers (Cruisers firepower, torpedo, reload +10%), both will be active even if they buff the same stat of firepower on cruisers, which resuls in +25% firepower for cruisers (Has been confirmed through the use of empirical test).

Leipzig has "Tactical Command: Cruiser" while Fletcher has "Tactical Command: Destroyer". They affect different ship hull types, so they can't stack because no ship is simultaneously a Destroyer AND a cruiser.

Hello. I would like to be able to search the ship by name. You need to add a search string next to the “Favorite” button, or somewhere else. This will help you quickly see how many identical ships you have in the dock. It will also help during ship enhance if you want to find the identical ship (for 2x EXP). You can also add the “identical” filter during the selection of material for enhance, but it seems to me that the search string by name will allow you to do it faster and more pleasantly when you play from the emulator.
This might get some hate, but I have seen it enough that I think people see it as an issue and not just myself. A lot of people wanna get all the girls from this event for that border. KGV is free in shop or .5 construction and Echo is a super easy drop if you don't get her from construction which you clearly do. Bismarck is construction but with a proper rate of 2 percent and isn't that hard to miss. I find many people taking issue with 3 Elite ships in rate up especially at only a .5 percent greater rate than the pool SR. I had an issue for a while where I was rolling and could not get Z36. I got both u boats over 10 times combined, but struggled getting her. I have to admit I whale so I usually use that to kill my issue with this sort of thing but f2p players who want that german border struggle with this even if they saved lots off cubes. I kind of mind the 2.5 percent rate as it has screwed me over before on Nagato event and I believe one other. I would propose a solution to this. I believe on other events we have had Elites at a higher rate before. One solution would be to simply raise the rate slightly by say .5 percent to allow more elites from build pool to drop as opposed to finding yourself with a copy of a scrap elite you already mlb'd or a copy of one you already have. The other solution is a bit more complex, but would work too. You change the rates to assist with getting elites. I see this as a better solution in dealing with having 3 or more elites in rate up pool. Say I get u-556 on rate up.
To assist me in getting the other two, the rate for her drops to 2 percent and the other two go up .25 percent to be 2.75 percent. When I get another like u-73, the rate for her goes to 2.25 percent as well as u-556, but the rate for Z36 goes up to 3 percent. When I get z36, the rates return to normal at 2.5 percent each. The final solution is don't change the rates, and don't put so many elites in build pool. Collectors I know who really want certain ships for their character or stats do not want to miss a ship. By making ships like Scharnhorst a shop ship and her sister a drop ship allows for less in rate up, but people still being able to collect ships they want by farming for them. I understand Gneisnau was in this event due to her being missed by some, but I think putting one of the subs in drop or z36 would have helped mitigate this as opposed to putting the one rare you had as a drop which anyone who crafts even mildly will get. While I can't say this is my problem because I love spending on this game, I would prefer to use gems on costumes etc. and the player base would really like to get the ship girls they want.

@naive cobalt no no those seem about right for what I was hitting at. I know many games practice the guaranteed SSR after X pulls. I think rates are fine without that here. Now, @finite dawn unless you are the guy who if I am right is about to ring his 150th Vampire on CN, then you don't need to filter dupes by name. You can view about 12-18 ships on your screen at one time and it is pretty easy to pick the one that you need to pick over the dupes you have. Unlike GFL this game doesn't involve duping so you can run another ship in a different fleet. You generally just use a different ship and a whole different comp. I think the ability to search is just fine but the filter is just more work that isn't needed

So oxytorps. Since they are technically a torpedo shouldn't they use torpedo parts instead of general parts. I mean the ASW planes use plane parts and they get stuck in your general slots so shouldn't the oxytorp be the same? Also when they get added shouldn't the shells(white/black shells) use main gun parts?
No, it's aux equipment that goes into aux slot so uses aux parts

There are times where we get CV updates along side the other servers and sometimes we get them a little lagged behind. More than likely we'll get them in another patch or two
Since event mode normal maps have a clearing mode, why not make it so ships spawn in submarine range all the time/more frequently? It would help with xp/affection/point grind.
Hm...for that though, submarines are still percentage damage to ships w/in their hunting range. And having it to where ships are more frequent/always going to spawn in that range can make it to where players are able to cherry pick and always be able to fight crippled enemy fleets
I was wondering about ship buffing specifically and only relating to PR ships. While I do see a lot of use in a majority of PR ships, and while some defend her, I hear Izumo is simply not anything great. I understand retrofits as a way to make any given ship more useful, but this just needs a simple buff from looking at it. She isn't a bad ship, but for the grind you have to put into her she should be just as worth it as others. I would touch similarly on ibuki potentially but I think Izumo needs the focus here.
She is a bad ship, when compared to the rest, and I've covered why on a variety of occasions
The Fate skill boost did help a little, ish, by making her barrage not as likely to be stopped by trash mobs - but it's still a bad deal all around
AP-based enemy fire is extremely rare, so this skill serves as almost direct demerit. Changing it to reduce damage from ALL shell types, while still leaving fire chance and duration can make her more viable, while retaining said demerit.

The 'HE burns her to a crisp" stops mattering after W11 for the most part, having a mediocre pattern on the main reason you're running her is a death sentence - nobody cares if she can live if she can't DPS WHILE stealing the flagship slot from much more useful units such as Mikasa or Nagato
With the skill buff (I suggested that) she could quite easily be considered very tanky so I do not see much use. However, if her barrage is not good at clearing bosses I may see the reason for the buff
Very few barrages are optimal at tackling bosses, but one could also say that firing parallel needles à là Big Seven is a good way to be especially bad at it
The Devs clearly agree with the sentiment and half fixed the skill - by having half of them rain down from the heavens as more traditional BB shells with AoE and whatnot
The catch is you need 343+165 BPs to get there

Not being able to reorganize a fleet on the grid view is bothersome in hard mode.
• you can re-organize them only on the pre-battle screen.
• By the time I go to fight the boss with my stronger team, I've forgotten their positions are terrible and the flagship is destroyed, when literally either of the other ships would be better.
I don't mind having ship type requirements in hard mode. Makes it interesting and challenging, but having these requirements locked to the flagship position is pretty unfair, especially when it has a chance to force you to set an untrained ship as your flagship.
I thought that as of the UI overhaul at least, they had changed it such that when starting with a blank fleet for hard mode, the order you added ships would determine the order in fleet -- 1-2-3 for Vanguard, and 3-1-2 for main fleet. Could still be further improved, granted, but at least it's something for now.

So, the various UI untranslated parts are being compiled / submitted to the bug & TL boards listed in #bug-reports . However, the team may be choosing to prioritize more gameplay affecting bugs first -- I don't believe feedback assistants are being told how the actual dev team is prioritizing various fixes, except perhaps the most critical problems
As an example ( I have no knowledge this is how it's being done ): They may decide that newer players being unable to see the various Beginner missions are more impactful than being unable to use the interface to report someone in chat

It's nearly impossible to see 'Torpedo Bomber' on the torp planes, at least in the blueprint screen.
Since you abbreviated all the firearms; here are some suggestions for the unabbreviated types:

I would suggest using the fourth slot on firearm blueprints to show if it is high-explosive, etcetera; however the Twin 128mm D… uses the fourth slot to show the Anti-Air boost it gives.
The Twin 128mm D… is a GUN-type, Rare firearm. I can't tell you the weapon's full name because I only have one blueprint for and tapping the Icon doesn't give me expanded details.

So the Gear Set function is nice, but unless ive overlooked something, its not sophisticated enough in that it will take the specified gear that i saved into the cache of one ship off of another ship in the instance its equipped on them instead, which kind of literally makes it 50% useless in a way. The alternative function of it being able to search for a similar weapon is fine and all, but it doesnt feel very efficient. Everyone is likely to have hundreds of ships at some point, however at the same time not everyone is likely to have hundreds of the same weapon.

Instead of putting gear sets in the dockyard, Why not just put gear sets in every fleet editing mode. Aka putting a gear set editor for exercises, for SOS, for hardmode, and for events, story etc.
So when you go into exercises you already have ur exercise gear and when you go into sos you already have your ASW gear.
That way you dont have to go into dockyard and change gearsets for each ship everytime you change modes

I think it's a limitation of the current sprite/dorm capabilities as Karlsruhe's chibi has to have a view from behind to sit on that chair (because sitting faced away from Koln and the table with food looks awkward) which IIRC there are none

Just as a general feedback, I would like to point out that we get more and more gold consumptions features ( LB required for events tasks, Level Limit caps, Research projects... ) combined with a pretty fast pacing of the events on EN, but no new means of getting said gold or increased earning from the ones we already have. And what hasn't been a problem ever for me personally a few weeks ago is quickly becoming quite a pain. And that's the feeling I get when talking to other people as well.
So if something could be done about this, that would be welcomed. Even if it's little things, like reducing the cost of some items ( Like the gear skin boxes which are already Rng heavy, even if they're not necessary to get, they're still those kind of little pleasures that are kinda sad to skip ) or slightly buffing the gold income of the merchant.
I get that gold management is part of the game, but I feel like this part is becoming more and more unbalanced because as I said, we need to spend more and more as the updates go on but with no reduction of cost on what we already needed to buy, and no new efficient means of gaining gold.
Hey, how about combining the shop Icon for skins and the loading screens that might be nsfw and make a toggleable sfw button in the options, which replaces all loading screens with maybe the enterprise one on app launch and changing shop icon to sfw(maybe that yamashiro kai one)

This thing!" -- the devs eventually want to get us on par with JP/CN, but they'll do the catch up content at their own pace rather than listening to how many people ask for X vs asking for Y
They always say they'll do things at their own pace which makes feedbacks useless

Purpose of that pin is exactly what is stated - you have people who think events are too fast and then you have people who think that 2 days after event ended is "slugfest speed"
You can't really appease both sides, since it's, well, mutually exclusive
So devs decided on current speed as the most optimal and don't take feedback on it
That includes pacing of events and additional content alike

Have the ability to turn off Threat LVL for normal maps in case there are players who want to test out fleets, challenge themselves, etc w/o the buff that comes from Threat LVL

So apparently if we switch a PR development and finish that development, we still have to wait 24hrs to switch again. Could we... change that ? That doesn't really make any sense to me.
I tend to not redeem my PR ships to save dock space ( but I still complete all the tasks ) but with that, even if I were to finish all the tasks of all PR devs, I would still have to wait 24 hrs between each ship redeem. That's not ideal at all.
We actually have that written up as a bug for now as usually finishing a PR ship should ideally allow you to immediately go to a new one, but we'll see for now. If it turns out to not be a bug, we'll get it collected as feedback then

A bit late to the party but I think straight up letting the players choose what loading screens are displayed isn't a great idea as they'd choose whatever fits their likings the best. Sure this sounds great from the player's view but from what I've seen of the loading screen ...

its a known issue that the chat filter is too strict

Roblox censors my favorite video games name and several characters from them even though the series are PG.
The in-game chat should really get an extensive overhaul including (but not limited to): Increasing letter limit to at least 240. Option to completely disable word censoring. A more intelligent word detection algorgitm (relating to the issue with the word "torpedo" as mentioned above and more) plus some more emotes from this server implemented. At the same time, it should display not only build drops, but also map drops for ships ("Player X obtained ship X from map X-X"). There are many other minor changes such as topic-dedicated rooms maybe and small adjustments for EN to receive a more optimised chat.
Chat word censoring in general has been reported to be looked into. Feedback has been collected for increasing the character limit along w/ displaying sorties SR drops in chat. As for topic-dedicated rooms, what exactly do you mean in regards to that? Chat rooms in game are just meant for a general chat for people to talk about whatever
chat isn’t the main focus of the game
while its a big qol for some people, dedicated chat rooms seem obtuse
who knows, you might find friends with the same interest in the chats

The connection is so unstable that I regularly experience disconnections, at which point all the chat messages up till then are deleted. I miss out on a lot of the conversations, and if they simply added a function where the last 10 comments (not emotes) posted in the room were saved, the issue would be solved.

You can signup with a Google account if you feel the desire to. There's a bunch of ideas from the community there, and one data point the devs use is how many votes a card has to help show player interest. The feedback assistants can confirm if the ⬆ & ⬇ in #known-bugs for a card are also actually used (though those are more for bugs / TL errors than feedback)
Ok, now that I'm not busy lemme thoroughly explain. no one ever would use a tier 1 or 2 pack. What I'm suggesting is a buffer between them being used and them actually opening so people just trying to quickly craft up to the next tier dont accidentally open 10 boxes they would never open
