#Challenges & microtransactions

I've never really played Vigor before, but I already feel suffocated by seeing features related to crowns in various menus.

The challenges help us to progress in the battle pass that we buy with... crowns, and there are some challenges that enable us to obtain this progression but can only be completed using crowns. So basically, we pay for a battle pass and then pay to do a challenge. Also, those who are completionists in video games and cannot afford to buy more than the battle pass are stuck. I am aware that there's a reroll option (that also costs crowns), and I totally understand such business model is needed because it's a free-to-play game, but this microtransaction approach is way too aggressive.

U mustn't pay for this quest, bcs u can swap this for 15 crowns). Game 'll be free, and microtransactions = life for this game :3

I am not against all forms of MTX; it is obviously necessary in this game. My feedback is about it being too pushy.

While i agree overall, be aware that once you upgrade your house, you will be able to earn crowns passively every day (Just like with the other resources).
This can let you skip the challenges you dont want or cant complete.

Thank you for the reminder, I agree this can help to earn a few crowns here and there, but I'm quite worried about what the next crown-locked content would be in the future, if there is any.

Game is P2W - That wont change. Unfortunately.

I don't feel that way, the TTK is pretty fast for any weapons, you can kill anyone with a simple luger and game knowledges in encounter mode, it's more a pay to grind faster

#

The only thing I'd find P2W is the loadout behind crown in elimination... maybe insurance...

You can buy lots of small consumables that gives you an advantage in encounters.
I consider that p2w.

So I didn't dig enough, I was too busy having some fun in encounters instead 😛
