As the title says, I think you should be able to change the shape, color and transparency of the generic crosshair. Sometimes without a laser it is difficult to shoot from the hip.

I dont think that is really intended as a crosshair so why again would you want a proper crosshair to be added?

I think the dot is there in general so you know where to look when using equipment. It's intended to not be usable as a crosshair
