sorry for the necro thread but is it intentional that ashes butterfree or one of the other mons just guessing its AB isnt counted for that achievement

Ash's Butterfree does count for that achievement

so anything starting with Pinkan except Pinkan Pikachu, anything starting with Valencian, Crystal Onix, Ash's Butterfree, and Pink Butterfree

it used to, but it was removed because it caused confusion and required being much further in the game to get it than anything else required for the acheivement

Honestly Pinkanchu could be unremoved from it now, since it's not locked behind Kalos anymore
