Not sure if this is a bug. But if not, it is at least inconsistent: when using mulch shovel in the small farm module and you click on another button (berry, mulch or lock) the shovel switches back to berry shovel. Imo it should stay at the chosen shovel type for consistency with berry and mulch. Just shovelled a berry because of this when I wanted to change the mulch to rich mulch...

When you toggle back to the Berries tab, it goes back to whatever you had equipped last while on the Berries tab. In your case, it was the shovel. This is not inconsistent behavior; you just weren't paying attention.
Actually, when you go back to the berries tab, it goes back to the last berry you had selected. You had to click on the shovel again to get the berry shovel equipped.
