So, today, when I was playing Pokéclicker on the desktop client on Windows, it crashed. When I launched it again, my save was gone— thankfully I had a backup from 8 days ago.
It was probably my fault; my computer isn't exactly a powerhouse and I tried to run Twitch, Pokéclicker, and Galactic Civilizations II at the same time.
I'm not looking for a solution or anything, I just figured I'd post this in case the info helps someone, in some way.
And sorry if this has been reported before; I did a cursory search but didn't find any similar issues.

Crazily enough my PC crashed also around the same time, I too had Pokeclicker open but not the others
