Hi all, I am wanting to upgrade my PC and i'm hoping some of you can point me in the right direction, my current specs are:

Processor AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor 3.70 GHz
Installed RAM 64.0 GB

Hi - Budget is unlimited however I just want to know what would be beneficial to upgrade on this PC setup I currently have. I'm thinking my motherboard needs changing as i'm still having internet issues.

So if you're thinking of upgrading your motherboard, you'll need to decide if you want to use the same CPU/RAM.

Your current CPU/mobo combo is using AM4 socket, new motherboards are AM5 which would mean a new CPU is needed as well as new ram, as you're currently using DDR4 ram which won't work on an AM5 motherboard

If you're purely trying to fix Internet issues, it's probably better to stick to AM4, as motherboard swap will mean a whole lot to change lol

RAM prices still suck at the moment 😂

Might be worth contacting CPUK directly through the website to see if they can sort an upgrade for you on the motherboard and other upgrades that come with it, think they also offer a couple AM4 boards still as well if you didn't want such a big change
