I have a PC which has Cyberpower GF120 ARGB PWM Fans which seem to be connected to a fan controller and into the motherboard. A few moths ago I had a problem where the fans suddenly reset their rgb (during bootup) for no reason after every shutdown and then continuously got worse as sometimes the fans wouldnt spin. They would look like they are attempting to spin but couldnt. The rgb would also be fixed to one color (or none) during this so I would have to turn the computer on and off as the problem was in the bootup. It had gotten to a point where they would not spin at all at one point. This seemed to be a fan controller and not a fan problem as my aio which was also hooked up to this fan controller experienced the same issues too. I got it replaced by Cyberpower about 2 months ago and it has been working fine since until I noticed the same symptoms have began to appear after about2-3Months. The rgb suddenly reset to its default and when I tried booting up today the rgb was stuck on green and some fans wouldnt spin and others spun slowly. It is not a dust problem I clean my pc every 2 weeks. Any help would be appreciated as it is happening again

Anyone please?
I think this would be more suitable for CPUK themselves, if the same problem has happened twice.. I don’t know what program the CP controller runs off of, but maybe it’s nothing to do with the AIO? Could be a motherboard issue?
I’m not PC knowledgable though, so I’m just guessing
Could also be some conflicting programs. I just don’t know enough about Cyberpower AIOs
Apologies for the lack of information. My motherboard is an MSI MAG Tomahawk B850 wifi. The AIO I am using is not from Cyberpower it is a MSI coreliquid e360. This problem only happens during boot. If it manages to work in boot, It works for the rest of the time its on
I got the fan hub replaced a few months ago
I dont think its conflicting programs because it happens at the start of boot and before the bios screen shows up
Ive asked a AI (not that it is most definitely correct) and it says that these fan controllers may have memory issues and may wear out overtime and is telling me to get a one with good rep (eg Lian Li)
:tada: Congrats @warm granite, you levelled up to 2! :tada:
I will turn it on this morning and see how it goes
From past experience it usually never gets better
