Basically I'm moving house and will not be able to use ethernet connection for a period of time. I've noticed that my computer doesn't recognise anything wifi based such as no option of connection through wifi on the Network & Internet setting, no option on the Control Panel, or no wireless network adapter on the device manager. I have even just installed a LAN driver through asus and still no wifi option appears. I'm abit lost at this point
#WIFI doesn't exist on my system

what motherboard?
PRIME H610M-R D4
Sorry I'm not sure what you mean
PRIME H610M-R D4
doesnt have wifi on the board
do you have a wifi card in the computer
ethenet only
Just looked at it now and no, bit weird as it was promised on the specs it would include wifi
umm
very misleading
well you have 2 options
contact cpuk and send it back to get the right motherboard
or ask them to send a wifi card out for it
not sure if they will do that
send the card out they might want the box back
Hmm seems alot of hassle and I got it from argos so idk how it works with different retailers
:tada: Congrats @stable river, you levelled up to 2! :tada:
umm they must of got the name of the motherboard wrong
its not an h610m A
do u have a free pcie slot?
Yeah just realised it's open today when looking at it
I think the h610m R is very niche as very limited searches came up for it
Yeah
so u could contact cpuk and ask about it
or u can spent £15 on a wifi card
some go as low as £8
or you can get a wifi dongle that goes into your usb
again not really the point should of been as discribed but am just brainstorming right now
Yeah thank you for your help which would give better connection strength a wifi card or an adapter/dongle?
ethenet
I am well aware aha
but after that a wifi 6/7 card
Alright, thank you for your help!
