Hi guys, got a 4TB WD Red Pro HDD fitted to my build for storing some projects on.
Only problem is this is the loudest HDD I’ve ever witnessed, and am starting to question if it’s normal noise or a damaged product. Have a listen.
Broke or just a loud boy?
This was it actively writing into the HDD. Understand its physical media so expecting the usual chirps or chittering but this sounds a bit grindy.
