Here is the situation as it is currently.
- Text from DPD saying driver couldnt deliver parcel as no code was given, rebook for next day.
- Next day exact same thing, 3 minutes after my timeslot.
- Call them and ask tf going on, no one has showed up at my door. I've got cameras.
They confirm my address and explain the driver was going to the wrong one, they said they got in contact with the depot and he will be turning around for me.
call 3 more times that night asking where he is until finally 8pm where his shift ends. DPD Support is offline past 8pm.
Call next morning (today) and explain the situation and ask if they can redeliver over the weekend, as this is THEIR error that has resulted in this delay.
For reference, the earliest redelivery on the app now is MONDAY.
They say they cant change the delivery details as its a contract between them and cyberpower pc, and I would have to contact cyberpower pc. They probably know that their support isnt active on weekends. This is also after they ALREADY changed the instructions on my parcel 2 times last night to try and get it to me.
Now im stuck with a monday delivery, they refuse to do anything extra without me contacting cyberpower PC. Which obviously I cant.
Need some thoughts on where to go from here, is monday really the earliest I can get (provided they dont fuck me about more) and if not what can I actually say to them here to get it earlier besides raising a complaint which wouldnt have any immediate effect anyway.
I have tried for HOURS to be placed in contact with a supervisor or something to see if anyone can authorise a change, to no avail obviously because its dpd. They refuse to escalate.
