Newbie first pc in 15 years

Good evening everyone I’m looking for help / advice I’m a bit of a dino in this area,
It’s a confusing world some swear by Inter others by AMD, what is actually better as I’ve heard some bad things about intel,
I’m looking for a all rounder really a pc for my small home run side business of bespoke travel, for my daughter to play games learn and do homework on (she’s 7) for me to do a bit of content creation/editing stuff, and also gaming Microsoft flight sim gta among others, I need it to be as fast and as current and modern as possible and must be future I don’t want the same issue I had with pc world 10 year ago with in a year it’s slow ect, my budget is £1500-£1900, pc monitor would not be within this price
