perfect ty
ok so thats what i managed to make and i just wanted some thoughts on it, how well will my games run on it etc
i just wanna make sure that this pc is as good as i can make it for my games
Probably the best option unless you can stretch a bit more
:tada: Congrats @visual jay, you levelled up to 4! :tada:
Okkkkk
And for a monitor i chose this
That's fine, if you are happy with that go ahead
If you can stretch to 1,5k you probably get a better CPU but other than that solid for 1080/1440p gaming
If i manage to grab a job after my semester i can def bump it up
@old lodge imo save a bit more money and get a pc with a 5070ti for bit more future proofing
only demanding game you listed is assassins creed so id imagine youd want to play the newest one also and the 5070ti will run anything at 1440p max settings, maybe even 4k 60fps on some games
:tada: Congrats @clever pond, you levelled up to 2! :tada:
I also agree with this
@old lodge

Heyo so i managed to get a lil more money, i can now put 1500 into the pc
A setup that can 1440p
what configs do u guys think

How good is the 9070? Im not quite educated on the radeon cards xd
the 9070 XT is between a 5070 and 5070 ti
it's a good card
ooooo nice
7 fps less [on average] compared to the 5070 Ti, but also costs almost £200 less
(this is with a 5070 Ti in the same config i sent)
Wowaaa
Also will the case have all fan slots filled?
Might be a stupid question but i seen some cases have slots for 9-10 fans but u can only select up to 6 fans and cant select more
the case comes with 4 fans, another 3 come from the AIO (totalling 7)
it seems there are more fan positions in the PSU tray? but i don't think that will have any real impact on thermals or aesthetics
okiiiii
oh hold on
oh i see - 1s
Np
3 at the front, 3 at the top, 1 rear exhaust, 2 at the side, 2 at the bottom
so if you want to fill ALL the slots you can just add 4 fans (which you can do easily)

np - lmk if you have any questions
Will this link expire btw? Can i always come back to this config?
:tada: Congrats @old lodge, you levelled up to 21! :tada:
Or will it go away after 2 weeks
Tyvm i will def let yk!
My happiness just flew out the window
they got rid of AM4 configs
leave it a bit - it should go back down
i imagine that's some sort of stock control mechanism causing the price hike - £100 out of nowhere is obviously not quite right
wtf is happening
Overnight is wild but yh i will leave it for now anyways, wont be ordering till maybe mid july?
i rlly hope it does go down lol

it probably will
i have a feeling it's a stock control measure - either they have low stock or they don't want loads of people buying it now that they no longer have AM4 configs

I still got time anyways so hopefully it goes down
Also because i got all those fans, could i shave some money off by removing the liquid cooler?
Would that be a good idea or no
11 fans finna make Antarctica look like the sahara desert
i recommend keeping the AIO tbh
for a 7800x3d it's best to use an AIO
you can use an air cooler, but in future if you want to upgrade, you'd probably need an AIO
none i just switched config
what did u switch?
to a different configurator
some are cheaper than others - but it depends on the parts you pick
so i just did some trial and error with most of the AMD configurators to find which one was cheapest for the same set of parts
Oh mb i was looking at the wrong one😭
@tidal osprey will this run 4k right?
yeah it'll run 4k
Yay
again dumb question, so with the fans, which ones in that pic will come with the pc and then were are the free slots for any add on fans
cuz im thinking i might just change the fans to the black corsair ones, otherwise i got fans that are rgb and others that are white/pale blue
same with liquid cooling, what if i swap it to this
i wanna keep those base fans that come with the pc, and try keep other parts black if possible
unless the rgb fans have custom colour options
Oh good thats perfect
ok thanks!
@tidal osprey what if i chose the cpu below the current one
Its about £50 cheaper
And i doubt there is much diff between the performance
What if i took that 7700x
there kinda is
the 7800x3d is a very good gaming cpu
x3d chips are pretty much the best so I advise going with one
Alr then :)
@tidal osprey REEEEE
i have the greenlight to order
Can u pls just check it all to see nothings missing
which one are u going with
alr

yeah - i removed the extra case fans because they weren't necessary
but all fans slots are filled irght?
the image isn't usually how it'll look, but i can tell you the fan arrangement will look like that
https://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/images/cs/lancool216/blk_sitewide_800x800.jpg
ngl, im sorry but i think the other one looked better😭
^ this one has all the fan slots filled
what got changed on it
from the original config?
nothing
the configurator itself was changed to get the lowest price
but the parts are the same
oh so everything is the exact same, but made in a diff config?
yeah
How do u change the colours on the argb fans btw
there is Armoury Crate, but i recommend using SignalRGB or OpenRGB
Is that a thing i need to download?
Cuz i saw a vid from yt and it said u gotta buy a cable in order to do it
Which is odd because the fans should be fully operational when i buy em
yeah
shouldn't be necessary
