Hey guys this is my esports build. I’ve got £2000 and I was looking to get the Ryzen 7 + rtx 4070 super for CS2 competitively + streaming but idk if I should upgrade to the 9800x3d for the extra frames. The difference is about £150 though to upgrade which im not sure is worth it.

7800x3d vs 9800x3d performance shouldn't be that much different so probably fine with that. The 5070 is coming out later this month if that interests you. Should be better performance for similar cost. You don't need as big of a psu.

That should work fine and if you want to wait for 5070 then it might be up to 100 more depending on price with stock but should be worth it
Bet, I made the PSU 1000W in case in the future i do some huge upgrades like GPU but ill reduce it. Im a little intrigued to see the price difference for performance so 've set an email notification for when the 5070 drops
The rrp is supposed to be same but different brands may price theirs slightly differently
Knowing myself ive got no patience to wait and I haeva feeling it will be more expensive than id like. Your advice to reduce the PSU puts the PC under 2k which looks so sexy and makes me want to pull the trigger. Do you think a 750W or a 850W psu would be better to get. Ill be upgrading certain parts in the future for sure?

The price of the 850w is as much as the 750ws so may as well get 850. The 5070 will probably be a tiny bit more due to stock and demand as 4070 super may have a few offers on it so if happy enough with that then go with that. Especially as when 5070 comes imon the 4070s may get taken off
i tried to wiggle it down a bit
6 fans not necessary with aio fans btw
you get 3 with aio
Id just go 7800x3d for the £100 off. 9800x3d is better but if only caring about fps then probably not enough difference to warrant it
Also i was just trying to max the case considering its the cheap fans
Appreciate you guys, would you say the cyber power cooler is better than the corsair? Ive heard the talk about the icue and the aio failing but ive heard good things about the titan.
I was gonna keep the same case fans because I really wanted a Lian Li Galahad AIO but you guys might be onto something with the matching cyberpower fans and aio. It will look better that way right rather than keeping the same fans and getting the corsair AIO?
Corsair can be good but icue software is really hit or miss. The performance should be fine with either for the 7800x3d as its easy to cool so anything more like a corsair isn’t necessary unless you really want it for cosmetics
Yeah I was looking at it for cosmetics really because of that LCD screen so I think imma get it and just deal with the ICUE software. I think I’m gonna go for your suggestion @crude patio but without the fans and with the Corsair cooler. Thank you guys i appreciate all the help
Just ordered it guys, thank you once again
