Hi, the VGA light is lit up on my motherboard.
I have tried the following:
Resitting the GPU
Removing the CMOS battery for 5 minutes & touching the JBAT1 for 15 seconds with a screwdriver
Flashing the BIOS with the most recent BIOS version.(which did power on the machine/fans/rgb and take the expected 5 minutes that be would expected)
Tried different monitors, tried those monitors on two different laptops
Booting without the GPU just the CPU
Hardware:
MSI PRO B650-S WIFI motherboard
RTX 4070 Ti Super GPU
Ryzen 7 98003XD CPU
Context:
Was playing Cyberpunk 2077 last night shut down the pc as normal no issues. This morning, it's now giving the VGA light issue.
This is the 2nd time the VGA light has turned on. Previously it came on after running a (led?) firmwarm update, can't 100% remember what it was called but it wasn't a whole BIOS update pretty sure it said LED. The reason I did this was to get msi centre mythic light working, which it did after running that update. I fixed the VGA light the last time by resitting the GPU & removing the CMOS battery (I did both, not sure which fixed it).
The only thing I have tried is removing the PCIe cable as I can't work out how to remove it safely/without yanking on it what feels like too hard.
Any help would be amazing, thank-you.
