CPU only showing 2 cores and 4 Logical Processors

Hi, ive had this pc for over 5 years and never had a problem with it until recently when i have noticed games are running rough and cpu usage is at 100%. I've done a bit of chin scratching and i downloaded cpu id and noticed that its saying 2 cores in use, ive cross checked with Task manager and its also showing the same.

Ive loaded up my bios and i can see on my profiles i have 4 that have been set by your team. ive loaded each profile and booted my pc up but its still showing 2 cores in use.

I have a i7 6700k, z170 gaming k3 motherboard.
