If you have a discrete GPU then you need to plug your monitor cable into the graphics card, not the motherboard. This can be found on the Quick Start Guide which was emailed to you, or you can download it with the /tag guide command.
sounds daft, but is it in the GPU?
Yeah it definitely is. I know thats one of the first things i checked cause its a common thing to do
Well, it looks like it is working tbh
There are no diagnostics etc
This cable looksf a bit tight, maybe it got loose in shipping
if it is slightly out, the GPU will just not work due to the nature of the sense pins
(which is a good thing)
It just will not boot to my monitor no matter what i do. Ill give that a bash headed out to recompose for an hour and will get back to it 😆
Appreciate the reply and help though ill have a look at that cable definitely
:tada: Congrats @livid tusk, you levelled up to 1! :tada:
Np yeah
Nothing at all happening checked all the cables. Looks fine but nothing coming up still
Reseat the GPU
And while you are at it, you may aswell reset the CMOS
:one: Shut down your PC and unplug the power cord from the wall.
:two: Locate the CMOS battery (see the image below). On some motherboards, you may have to remove the graphics card in order to access it.
:three: Remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard by pressing down on the clip and pulling the battery out.
:four: Hold down the case power button for three seconds while your PC is unplugged.
:five: Install the CMOS battery back into the motherboard and plug the power cord back into the wall.
:six: Plug in and turn on your PC.
A video guide is also available below
Cheers man ill give it a bash tomorrow and get back to you 😆
🙏 Np
