I wouldn’t recommend diving into 4k much without a *080 card or more, but 1440p should be easy for these systems
Thanks for the input @somber scroll
His budget is fixed
He told me he'd like an am5(he doesnt know the name of the socket) since he mentioned an upgrade path
Maybe weaker cpu and stronger gpu?
Can’t put too much imbalance in the spec otherwise we may see some bottlenecking
Let me see what custom I can get him for £1,500

As a custom option this is a decent deal. We have room to upgrade ram + get the 4070ti instead of super if he wants
I passed down the builds
Cheers mate
I told him to save a bit of money to increase the budget to 2k-2.5k for any 4k ideas
I just realised I sent it as £1500 before VAT lol
If he can do 2.5k I can put him something nice together which will handle 4k
As long as it’s a 4080 or more, 4k is feasible

Something like that, we can work backwards to meet his max budget either way
Smart choice if he wants to have an easy 4k experience
Just get a new thread made when he is ready and we can get something awesome put together
Next day deals we can probably find closer to £2,000
Customs id say £2.5 is safe
Ya
I told the dude to push for 2.5k
Too bad we dont get deals like the US folks get at like micro-center
US peeps get really good deals for the money compared to us
Tbf you won’t get a much better deal for a PC that’s assembled, tested, and has the level of warranty cp provide
Buying individual parts and building is fun n all but if ur not confident its best to put ur faith in the experts for a very slight premium
Ya but id presume CP would be willing to assemble if customer brings their own gpu+ram or a combo like that since we do get some decent deals on amazon and newegg sometimes
