My current specs are in the included image and I would preferably like to game at 1440p high fps in games such as RDR2, FN, MW3 and other popular mp/sp games.
I don't have a budget as I am just looking for ideas. pepehypers

A motherboard won't affect performance, but to get a new CPU yeah you would want one

Get in contact with cyberpower and they can give some parts and prices

I would say if you could afford a new platform (AM5/intel 12th/13th/14th gen) go for it

#

But for 1440p prioritize GPU (7700xt + would be a good upgrade)
