#Fullscreen Games AltTabbing

When playing games in fullscreen mode they randomly alt tab. This only seems to happen when the game is in fullscreen, as I have tried to play in fullscreen windowed and it works fine. I've done some googling and it says it's likely a windows issue and I should try and use a fresh install of windows. I'd like to avoid that if at all possible just because I don't want to deal with reinstalling everything, but if I can't find a solution I guess that's the only course of action. Any help to try and fix it before having to reinstall windows would be greatly appreciated.

I mean I know this isn’t helpful but just to let you know you’re not the only one, my old pc used to do the same thing all the time and for the life of me I could never figure out how to fix it

Anything I googled or tried never fixed it

I just had to play everything windowed

Did some Googling try some of the following:

  1. disable all notifications, it might be that windows notifications are forcing an alt tab
  2. make sure any keys aren’t sticking down
  3. apparently pressing left shift 5x does the same thing and can be disabled in ease of access so try that
    Other than that I’m not too sure you can always try a different keyboard if you have one maybe it a keyboard issue
