Whilst fiddling with obs to get audio from my switch so i can stream it to friends in discord, i updated my realtek audio drivers in an attempt to solve this issue. Ever since that update, my headphones have been fine but my mic is really quiet even at 100% volume, ive reinstalled the drivers, fiddled with mic settings and done everything i can think of and find on google and nothing works (it also didnt fix my problem on obs which is just great). I was using realtek before this and it worked perfectly fine, but it wont even let me roll back the update. I have actually had this problem before and managed to fix it by playing around with every setting i could find but i dont remember how i did it back then so im just kind of stuck. I have also tried using Equalizer APO to boost my mic volume but its still too quiet, so much so discord barely recognized my voice being there. I know it isnt the headset itself as it was working fine right before i updated. Any ideas on what to do or if i should buy a different headset would be much appreciated (my current headset is the HyperX Cloud Stinger).
