Hello guys my PC has literally just started having problems i guess? i have just been playing some Cities Skylines 2 and the fans have gone up to maximum speed and the systems RGB is flashing red.

i've also had a lot of problems when using Chrome lately as well with the screen glitching black and Youtube being really laggy like really low FPS if thats any help or related to this.

Does anyone have any idea what this might be!?

Right, so i've played 18 minutes of Cities Skylines 2 to test if anything has solved after restarts/shut downs and nope its doing the same thing my CPU just hit 100 temp and is really really hot touch any part of the PC panels? not experienced this at all up until today.

For that chip I would say is fairly normal - download OCCT and do the CPU stress test and report back

Leave it how it is

#

And it should do a good job, you can monitor temps with OCCT

#

Take a screenshot after 10 seconds and 5 minutes if it doesn't crash

Now can you open up the glass side panel and touch the tubes to see if they are vibrating alot

the left one does feel slightly warmer

Have you tried any fixes like forcing firmware updates through icue?

Sometimes this problem can be caused with a loose cable as well

hm weirdly Icue has gone to 1.6.336 it was a lower version before and it said it was up to date

however just done some testing

if i launch Cities Skylines without the Icue open it has the 18 minute meltdown and noteable heat however the PC runs silent

if i laumch Cities Skylines with the Icue open it runs over 18 minutes, temps are normal but it runs audibly louder with fans 🤔

#

now this is weird for me because since i got this PC and since Cities Skylines released ive never run with Icue open because i just prefer the default RGB lighting but now we have this problem
