Just got this PC on Thursday, it’s been working fine, about an hour ago I was playing a game and the system immediately lost power. I have since checked the power cable by swapping it with a working one from another PC and I have tried different outlets. Any advice for what I can check on the system to see why it’s not getting any power?

So is the PC not receiving any power or is there still LEDs or such lit up on the motherboard?
No led power at all
So just to get the basics crossed off, The PSU switch is in the I position?
👍🏻 yep
Alright, do me a favour and unplug the power cable from the back of the PC, and hold the front power button for about 10 seconds
and then do this
:one: Shut down your PC and unplug the power cord from the wall.
:two: Locate the CMOS battery (see the image below). On some motherboards, you may have to remove the graphics card in order to access it.
:three: Remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard by pressing down on the clip and pulling the battery out.
:four: Hold down the case power button for three seconds while your PC is unplugged.
:five: Install the CMOS battery back into the motherboard and plug the power cord back into the wall.
:six: Plug in and turn on your PC.
A video guide is also available below
Leave that CMOS battery out for a good few minutes
As per the video I’ll leave it out for 20min
:tada: Congrats @uncut token, you levelled up to 1! :tada:
Yeah, once you've put it back in, plug everything back in, and see if there's any power, if there isn't pop another message and we'll do another step 🙂
Still no power unfortunately.
Hmmm,
Yes, this is a replacement PC and was working fine for a few days. Mid game the pc lost immediate power, I initially assumed because it was so sudden that there had been a power outage but it was only the pc that had no power.
Say, Do you have a paper clip?
And what motherboard
Ah noice
I believe so…

You say it was a replacement PC, was this already sent back?
No this one is a full replacement to another I was having issues with. The first PC I got did not boot to windows, the motherboard was replaced, then I was getting BSOD’s and I was sent this full replacement, it’s been with me since Thursday, I have plugged it in installed few games and today while in a game it just died. I must be cursed or something. In 25 years of dealing with PC’s including building systems of my own I have never ever seen issues like this. My last PC (it’s still running) has never had an issue.
This is just bizarre..
Both of those clips making good enough contact?
I will give it another go but they seemed to be.
Still no joy, I made sure it was making contact by pressing on the paper clip.
Hate to say it but.... Hopefully this time it gets resolved.

They are friendly and hopefully all your experiences with them have been good - might have just gotten very, very unlucky.
It is a computer after all so the warranty should back it up
Well thanks for your efforts to you both, I have never been so disappointed.
