I would need a budget!

robust yew
#

I thought someone might say that...lol, say around the 2k mark but can be flexible.

inner hawk
#

Without a budget we could give you a build that's worth £5000 and wouldn't be suitable haha

white warren
#

I'm working on it

robust yew
white warren
#

Oh the GPU market back then kekw

inner hawk
#

Any preference on brands?

#

AMD? Intel?

#

Nvida?

robust yew
#

for GPU

#

?

inner hawk
#

for CPU & GPU

white warren
#

I'll give both it's fine

robust yew
#

Not for CPU - I've got Ryzen just now and its been great.

GPU probably stick with Nvidia as vMix seems to play better with them

inner hawk
#

AMD GPUs are cracking little things at the moment

robust yew
#

Hmmm interesting

inner hawk
#

Some even outperform 4070's for anywhere between £100-200 cheaper

white warren
#

I think price to performance AMD is doing best

robust yew
#

Would it be possible to give both options?

inner hawk
#

Yeah certainly, I'm sure Accent is drafting some up for you now, I would but currently working and don't have much time

robust yew
#

Oh dont worry - I wasnt expecting someone to look at it straight away. I really appreciate all the input. Thank you

I'll give you another one soon

robust yew
inner hawk
#

Yeah seems like that program more relies on the NVIDA GPUs

robust yew
#

Thats my thought too.

white warren
#

I'll give you an AMD Nvidia then

#

Apparently you need a capture card?

robust yew
#

I've got one here.

#

Thats all good

Awesome

Mistake with the previous build - if you decide to go for that switch the aio for little to no extra cost for a 360mm one

#

Ive went for a 13600k over 14600k because of the price difference which was extreme for no performance gain

inner hawk
#

yeah the 14th gen is basically just 13th overclocked

robust yew
#

Ok thats cool. Aaaah ok I understand

white warren
# jolly elm

For this one - non X because of temperatures and not that much performance gain, we aren't overclocking

#

Some people swear by the X, you can choose that aswell

robust yew
#

I was looking at that. so the 7700 and not the 7700x - not much difference

inner hawk
#

I know on Intel CPUs, overclocking is pratically dead, considering the chips now turbo more than a stable OC

white warren
#

Overclocking with an undervolt is not dead for sure

#

But just not practical

robust yew
#

On the recent build you send over - I see the AIO 360mm is selected - so thats ok

white warren
#

Yeah that's brilliant

#

Best temperatures there

#

Hope 2TB of storage is okay? Not sure how much you use.

#

Sorry discord things kekw

robust yew
#

Yeah, thats cool - Im more a cloud based guy, so storage isnt that much of an issue

white warren
#

Awesome

robust yew
#

Out of interest....any reason why I couldnt go from MSI Pro X670-P to the next one up which is the X670E Tomahawk

#

or not that much more performance?

white warren
#

No performance gain at all

robust yew
#

Cool

white warren
#

I like the look of both but prefer the tomahawk aesthetically

#

You might not and prefer the x670-p

robust yew
#

Cool - I'll have a look at both

#

Also...sorry for the questions...

white warren
#

No worries pepehypers

robust yew
#

Im still probably stuck in the 00s with hard drives. In the old days we'd have a drive where we boot from and have all the apps and a second drive to store all the data. is that not a thing anymore and just 1 m.2 is fine?

white warren
#

Hard drives are a pass for me

#

1 m.2 is fine! You can easily do that yeah

robust yew
#

Thats cool.

#

No worries! If you want to wait till tomorrow someone may throw their two cents in

robust yew
#

Yeah, thats cool - Im not in any rush at the moment
