PC Freezes and needs manual power down

Got my PC earlier in the year and generally been fine. Have bought Baldurs Gate 3, and can't play more than 20 mins without a full lockup of the PC. Sounds buzzes, and screen/mouse/keyboard freezes. The only option is to manually power down the PC.

Checked the event log and its event 41 Kernel Power System. This is generally preceeded by an event 56 warning

"The description for Event ID 56 from source Application Popup cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event."

Any ideas. I've updated windows, drivers etc.

hey buddy

try check all windows files

search for cmd, run as admin

type "sfc /scannow

check for any currpted windows files

other things you can do/try.

rollbacks to prevous saves

windows updates or rollbacks of current window updates

updating drivers and bios

if you switched out old parts for new parts remove old drivers

Thanks. Yeah did all the scans, checked memory etc and driver updates with no change in behaviour.
No change in parts, machine is as built. Got it in March.
Will see if I can roll back a windows update.
