PayDay2 likely isn't optimsed for 12th/13th gen architecture as it came out in 2013

You can go into task manager > processes > right click payday > Set Affinity > from there you can untick off the E-Cores ao it's forced to use the Pcores

Hey, thanks for replying. How would I know which ones are the efficient cores when I set affinity?

I think you can check in HWinfo

Yeah i looked and it only shows the performance and efficient cores whereas processor affinity shows the threads and for me i have 24 threads

#

Is there a way to make it save how many threads i have unticked on processor affinity for when i next launch the game or is that not possible?

#

i'm assuming cpu 0-12 are performance threads and the rest are efficient

Not too sure, might need to ask curt on that one

i followed this guide and created a shortcut for the game and set the affinity numbers with a binary number and hopefully it works, i'm gunna test it out now

doesn't seem to be working since i can see the game being utilised by my efficient cores on HWmonitor and it comes up with this prompt when i run the shortcut

this is what i entered to get the hex number to put in the file location when creating a shortcut and i believe it is correct
