Where have you plugged in your Display cable?
Does the GPU show up in Device Manager > Display Adapters?
thats my display cable and im currently reseting it so cant tell u that
but i tried restarting it and now the screen is black
nvm just turned on
and yea it shows up in display adaptors
Yeah just try update/install drivers hopefully its just an easy fix
im on my phone so should if i download discord and download that should it work?
Is it Nvidia gpu?
Yeah if you can install GeForce Experience from the link above or you can get the drivers directly from the Nvidia website
Hopefully the drivers just need updating and it'll sort it
That's good 😄
May be worth checking Windows Update too
New PCs tend to have a bunch of updates
alright
Haven't checked mine yet 😳
oh theres more
discords takin so long to download, is that normal as well?
have you screwed in your antennas?
yeah
probably not normal but wifi is always weirddd
alright
Try a speed test see what the results are I'd say
bro the site is struggling to open
Okay so probably really slow speeds then
probably
Have you checked Windows Updates yet maybe there is a wifi update
ill check it in a min
:tada: Congrats @mighty horizon, you levelled up to 3! :tada:
If you go Device Manager > Network adapters it'll say what your Wi-Fi card is in there hopefully
Can try downloading the drivers for it again maybe
I searched it up but the last update for that was in 2017 so I'm now confused
thats very helpful
got all 3 bars as well
(was not trying to be rude there if thats what it sounded like)
Nah ik dw
I'm not too sure why your speeds are slow I'm not the best at wifi problems
all i’ve got is a wifi repeater that i connected to my old pc
because its wifi didnt work
also it says this for my gpu
try installing the latest drivers from https://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx
^
Will do its just my wifi that is the main problem
yeah they are
i got 3 bars as well
does it matter where they are pointing maybe?
Supposedly it's better facing them towards the router but idk if thats true or not
just have em facing up I suppose
thats what im doin
just so worried rn
is there a chance it would work better if i restart it?
Try ennd service and start it again
In device manager right click the wifi card then Disable device
then enable it again
See if that helps
what wifi card?
the RTL8192EE
right wifi issues solved its because of the area my pc was in and i had to put down my old wifi repeater
now im just gonna download the drivers to see if my gpu will work
gpu finally works thanks for all the help, if i get more issues ill make sure to contact
Nice, glad it's all sorted 😄
got another problem
monitor says the pc is off even though its on and now it wont connect
changed the wire and everything
You got your display cable plugged into the gpu and not your motherboard?
try other slots
tried all the slots i have
:tada: Congrats @mighty horizon, you levelled up to 4! :tada:
like i was in the middle of downloading my drivers and the screen went black, wont turn back on
It's normal for screen to go black when updating drivers because it deletes the old display driver and installs the new one
