moving here from general - please see screenshot of current config, have 2 free memory slots if I remember rightly, tried to find the same memory sticks but this is the closest I can find - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07RS1G6XW?ref_=cm_sw_r_apann_dp_J14NWAGGAY2FJJVZBKNB

Will it be compatible?

They'll be compatible, but they'll only be set to the lower speeds of the 3000mhz ram that you have in there.

Thanks, does more ram draw more power?

#

Will my power supply still be adequate if yes?

Yeah but its something like 3 watts per 8gb, so it'll be fine

Give them an email, with your order number, and just say you're interested in buying two sticks of ram, and they can give you a price 🙂

Hello, I have just added the 2 new memory sticks and when I booted the pc it said things had been reset in the hardware - I've ran it with default settings and seems to be fine but is there anything that may need adjusting?

#

It was originally bought and Configured by yourselves, I haven't changed anything since

It will likely be referring to ram speed. If you go into task manager, under the RAM tab, check the speed and make sure its set to the rated speed

#

If not, XMP will need re-enabling

#

Its not guaranteed to have changed the speed (because when i added 2 more sticks to mine, it said the same thing but left the speed the same)

speed in task manager is at the lowest of the 2 (2x 3000mhz, 2x 3200mhz), task manager says 2933mhz

#

so that sounds about right, thankyou
