#intake outake?

Top of your PC always outtake
Warm air rises and you don't want the top fans pushing that air back down
but then if i have all 3 as outtakes that would be negative air with only 2 intakes and 4 outtakes, and ive heard thats not a good idea
this is the problem i have because i know top should be outtake but i dunno how the case expects all 6 fans to be as it doesnt support bottom fans
Yeah the 2 intake fans you have is right, rear fans is always exhaust and in most (pretty much) every scenario the top mounted fans also should be exhaust fans that's probably the best setup you can go for
so 2 intakes and 4 outtakes? surely the airflow will be really bad then?
ive always heard always positive or maybe neutral airflow but never negative and that would be negative
maybe the case supports 6 but isnt made to have 6 in, i really have no clue because i wanna improve airflow not make it worse yanno
Yeah I understand but if you have the top fans as intake because hot air rises then the top fans will just blow that hot air back down in to the case
Yeah what Lewis said is correct, you'll want the 2 at the front as intake and the 3 top and 1 back as exhaust
