#Help, is my fan broke?

Make sure it's plugged in fully, does the PC work okay?
Yeah everything has been fine, was fine yesterday, haven't ever taken it apart, never moved it and today its just like nope 🙃
Unplug it and replug it in, if it's still doing the same thing it's likely the fan just needs replacing

Yeah it loads into it
yeah sounds like it's just the fan unplug it from the board and plug it back in. If that doesn't work try a different fan header on the board
What does the cpu fan connector looks like? I'm terrible with stuff like that I'll end up breaking it

if that doesn't work try and plug it into another fan header (tell us if it's just the fan or the header) there will be another header on the left-hand side of your cooler about half way down the board if my memory serves correctly

You could try AIO_PUMP I believe
Just look for a header that matches the one you took it off of

There's not another 4 pin header I can see
you can try unplugging the one on the top right and just use that to test it
If it’s not working in both then it’s likely the fan causing the issue
What should I do then get a new fan? Only had it two weeks from cyberpower gutted
If it’s under warranty, cyberpower can source a replacement for you
Drop them an email, and let them know the issue, things you’ve tried to fix it, and include your order number
They should be able to send you one out next day (it’ll likely be delivered Wednesday because they close in 10 minutes)

Would I still be able to game on there while it's like that or is that a stupid idea?

Monitor your temps whilst playing if it goes over 83c then probably don't play
12400f throttles at 100c I believe
I have speccy but for some reason it's only showing my gpu and storage temps. Can't find cpu temps anywhere
Try HWInfo
Download either the Installer or Portable version
For temperatures, run in Sensor Only mode.

Scroll down until you see your CPU
Make sure you've run it in sensor only mode

What should I not let it get over considering I have a broken cpu fan
