A few days ago, I noticed that my PC started lagging really hard despite being up to date with updates, RAM isnt really loaded, GPU load and CPU load is normal as ever even when I play, but everything is lagging for me.
No Idea where to turn so Im asking here. Thankful for a reply back!

I recently read something about Discord and Nvidia GPUs slowing down PCs, I have no idea if that applies to me because this recently happened out of nowhere
I have no idea what SVChost is as well lmao
I only have discord and Google chrome open atm

Discord has an option called hardware acceleration as do a bunch of programs that will optimise performance by using multiple components
Mostly puts more stress on the gpu
Where they would ordinarily only use cpu
Background programs like Xbox or game bar tend to eat away at resources since they can actively record when playing games
Difficult to pinpoint really
I just turn them all off
If I want to record something I’ll use obs
Could also be down to new or old drivers both chipset and gpu or even windows
