Basically getting a new pc today. I am planning on moving my current storage to the new build aswell. Will the current windows 10 installed mess with my new pc’s windows 11?

Hard to say, but big possibility it could cause some issues.
I don't know of anyone doing it to give you a definitive answer

Me personally would always have a fresh install of windows for new core hardware like a motherboard/cpu. If anything you could mount your os drive to get any documents etc you need to keep. I’d then wipe your win 10 drive and use it as extra storage.
