#just want to know if these temperatures seem okay when playing a game. im new to building pc

the screenshot you sent those are fine a little warm nothing to worry about
All cards have different coolers and handle heat differently
should i set my fans up to deal with the heat better?
I wouldn't use ICUE to Monitor GPU temps though
ah why not?
i'd be using hwinfo personally to let it run in the background whilst playing games then you can tab out and see max temps, not current temps
Download either the Installer or Portable version
For temperatures, run in Sensor Only mode.
so it wont show current temps?
Better to use hwinfo then you can show what your maximum temp was
well maybe record them with hwinfo for 10 mins and report back
Launch hwinfo in sensors only, then scroll down and GPU is at the bottom
Like so
has it taken me to the right download?
when you click download on the above thing, it will take you to Fosshub and you click hwinfo installer
Yeah, just leave it in the background for 10 mins open whilst you play a game
and lets see what the temps are like
That's all fine
its all fine within spec for it
thats good then
:tada: Congrats @silver spade, you levelled up to 9! :tada:
also the game is a new and isnt very well optimised yet no idea if that plays a part in it
which specific 3080ti is it?
lemme check

Got a picture of inside your PC, that will show me the model
Oh nice the Ventus
no idea what that means
its the model of 3080ti you have
Its a decent model. But yeah temps are nothing to worry about
75c may seem scary for everything else but in PC parts that's basiically a none worry
okay i do have 9 fans so it should be fine right?
oh right didnt know that and thanks
also do i need to set up my water cooling or should it be fine?
Nothing to alter unless you want to alter fan curves but that's all personal preference
i think ill leave that stuff as i dont understand it
i should be fine playing ark survival with these specs right?
easily, but just remember Ark isn't well optimised so it runs very badly on any spec
