@uncut lynx check you have your HDMI in the GPU not the motherboard
If you have a discrete GPU then you need to plug your monitor cable into the graphics card, not the motherboard. This can be found on the Quick Start Guide which was emailed to you, or you can download it with the /tag guide command.
Should be in 2b
Ugly beeps, not actually sure. Try booting up with one monitor first
:one: Shut down your PC and unplug the power cord from the wall.
:two: Locate the CMOS battery (see the image below). On some motherboards, you may have to remove the graphics card in order to access it.
:three: Remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard by pressing down on the clip and pulling the battery out.
:four: Hold down the case power button for three seconds while your PC is unplugged.
:five: Install the CMOS battery back into the motherboard and plug the power cord back into the wall.
:six: Plug in and turn on your PC.
A video guide is also available below
Could also help
Tried the one monitor thing doesnt seem to work still@beeps and nothing happens
Try the CMOS reset. Sometimes it doesn’t make sense but just fixes things
Also is this a new issue from a computer you’ve been on for a while or is it brand new?
owned it for about a year now
is the cmos thing easy to do thi bc im not that good with tech and how long do u think it would take me
CMOS is pretty easy, it may be under your GPU though
Do you know what motherboard you have?
I believe it is a z390
:tada: Congrats @uncut lynx, you levelled up to 3! :tada:
which z390
i@think so
To remove the cmos you may need to remove your GPU in order to get to the cmos
That will show how to remove the GPU in order to get to the CMOS
okay thanks but do u have any idea of the prbolem from the video?
^
Before doing the cmos, i'd try ram, Take out this ram module
At the top of that image there will be a clip that holds the ram in, push that towards the motheboard if you're doing it with the PC stood up and that should release the ram clip
There's a video to show you
Take the ram stick out and try to turn on the PC without that ram module in
So you'll only have the one other stick of ram in
then what about after that
If you still get the same result put that ram module back in, the clip will automatically flip up when inserting the module to lock it in and then try it with the other ram module
I took one out and have the same resulyd so trying the one rn
done both no chnages
do u think my ram sticks could be messedup?
if i swapped them around would that do anything
You tested them one at a time correct?
yeah
I'd try to give that cmos battery a go
Sometimes even the most unlikely thing can be the thing that solves it
With PC's you'd be surprised
yeah ofcourse you are pretty good with tech but going off of what i would do the beeps match the description of googles and it says that it is something to do with memory so im just wondering whether it could be ram sticks, recently they have been on about 95% on task manager when running gta so not sure
idk what do u think i dhould do the cmos or its my ram stickd
Defo try the cmos
Cmos sets memory settings for the RAM. So it might just need a reset
If you're on about the CMOS battery you don't need to replace it just take it out, hold PC power button for a couple secs then put the battery back in
Yeah no need to replace it at all
this may sound sumb but when i hold the power button is it suppoded yo be plugged on
Nope
