Hello, please could someone help me with this as its really annoying. So basically i reset my pc like a month ago, and before i reset my pc there was no problems.
So the problem im facing is my download speed keeps fluctuating. This used to never be a problem. Examples of this would be that before i would always download at 100mps and it would never drop and remain stable. Now it starts at like 10 and constantly drops and then goes to 100 then drops. I also notice that my pc will heat up when its downloading at 100mps obvioulsy because its using more power but then it will go back to quiet when it drops. It makes me think theres a setting that is capping it or something? i want it to be like it used to be and maintain stable.
Another pattern i see is that i have to close down any program i have to even have the chance to reach 100mps. So for example steam can be the only application running, if i had anything else it would just stay at like 10 or 5 mps. This wasnt a problem before i reset me PC.
I am using ethernet with fibre so this shouldnt be the case. Please can someone help me????
