Hey all- have had this pc for 4 years at this point I think and over the last year/few months I've noticed it's slowing down significantly. Even after doing a clean install after a day or so of not really installing much it would slow down.

It's mostly at startup when it's the worst, I've cut down all the programs running at startup but hasn't really made a difference. But also loading times for games is very slow, also loading in things.

Don't know if this is something fixable or if it's time to upgrade some things :') I'm not knowledgeable at all in what would need fixing/changing though

Do you have SSD or HDD?

If you have an HDD you should buy an SSD and see massive improvement in terms of loading time for game and Windows

got a hdd and ssd, think hdd is the main one though, so probably good to replace that out? dumb question, when looking for new hard drives is there anything I need to specifically look out for so it will be compatible with my computer?

you dont want windows on a hdd

Yes, you need another SSD for Windows, games etc.
HDD are more useful for storage documents, pictures etc
