Dumb question, but have you tried a new battery in the controller?

The controller works, when I use it the light at the front of the controller lights red so it’s not the controller

And the light button on my Case doesn’t do anything either

Does your controller have an RC/MB button?

Maybe you've switched it to motherboard control instead of remote
