#permanent seep mode?

So I put my pc into sleep mode while I clean my room and come back 5-10mins later. When I try to boot the pc up again nothing happens no response but the power button continues to flash. What should I do?
When mine goes into sleep mode, the power button flashes and wont turn on from the movement of the mouse
Just press the power button and it should come back on?
Same and keyboard too but I like it that way
I did nothing happens
No fans no lights no sound no output nothing
Just out of interest, what case do you have?
And clicking the small restart button on the case so does nothing
Uhhh
It’s a Corsair 4000D
I believe
Ah. Try holding the power button to see if its shuts the pc off or reacts to it
Nothing
Do the front panel connectors look fully plugged in?
Normally at the bottom of your motherboard, ill see if i can find a picture
It’s flashing tho so I dont really wanna touch but I think so
I haven’t had this problem before and it was working perfectly fine this morning
Just take a look, i think the header is JFP1
Might be a case of switching it off at the back of the PSU. If it doesn’t react to the power button then thats the only way to turn it off
The red on is floppy but the JFP1 is the one next to it and it’s fully in
Is it safe to turn it off from the back
Should be fine to turn it off at the back. Only problem is if theres something you haven’t saved, it wont be able to save it etc.
Nah I turn off everything usually before sleep mode
You might get an error in the event viewer but thats just because the pc lost power unexpectedly
Normally a kernal power error, but because you know why it lost power, its fine
Now it’s back and it responded to when I clicked it
That’s very weird. Just a click from the back
Keep an eye on it
Might be worth trying it in sleep mode again and seeing if it works when you press the power button
Should I put it into sleep mode again and see if it happens again? I use it regularly maybe 1 or 2 times a day
Yeah, if it does the same thing, then it might be something with the front panel connectors, or maybe the power settings. Im honestly not too sure
Thank you for the help
Np 👍
Didn’t know it was okay to turn it off from the back while it’s still on
