Lets say ur game runs at minimum 30fps so if an action takes 1 frame to complete then at 60 fps you can just make it take 2 frames. Problem is what if you run your game at 45 or 50 fps? you cant have half a frame I assume you would just have to round down to 1 frame?

@livid sigil What you're asking about is called Delta Time, which is where games use real time to compute things as opposed to frame rate. It uses super complicated math that i know nothing about, but if you want you can do your own research now that you know what its called.
