#I was following a tutorial and idk why the code isn't working

This is like
Multiple scripts
what exactly is not working?
And pro tip: Don't follow tutorials
I don't know shit about roblox's coding so I was just following it to get a gist on how it works
Pressing F doesnt play the blocking animation or give a blocking value and clicking doesnt play attack animations or create the hit box
This isnt really how you can get a gist until you try to understand "why" or "how" it works
Good to follow tutorials, but it's a different story when it is 100% copied without learning
Oh my bad yeah this is what i was trying to imply
copying 1:1 instead of just learning from it is a bad practice
✌️
thanks cyrus for clearing it up i wouldve accidentally spread misinfo 😭

@hallow thistle Follow as stated above
But for the issue you’re experiencing, from what i can see you’re attempting to detect User / Client sided inputs within a Script
Change the Script to a LocalScript
I know that :/
I was following it so I know the relevant code and then was gonna take it and adjust to my needs
alright ill try that here in a bit
That’s a good approach, but if you’re confused with even the slightest part then do research
Alright keep me updated
Question how do I change it to a local script
Nvm I found it
