  1. How do I animate objects/weapons in Moon Animator?
  2. How do I then get that ID and paste it into a script so that the player does the animation from the rig and the weapon that was animated?
    I have linked an image of the weapon that would be animated.
    (The cube is where the player would be holding it.)

Is that a model?

If it doesn't have a primary part set, try setting it to a root part you have inside of it.

After that, select the model with moon animator open and it should let you use it.

Not too sure how to make it work if it's a tool.

The way it is: There are two parts to the model: The red part (PlayfulCloud) and the metal part (Playful Cloud Handles). I grouped both of the parts into a model as an attempt to make the model one.
