This is the most recent update of the combat system (dont mind the hitbox lol)
i have not added blocking yet, as im still feeling theres an issue with the flow
Well the animations might be part of the problem. Its not like they are not good they are pretty decent but Imo the last m1 could feel a little bit more "heavier" if you know what I mean.

And maybe you shouldn't concern yourself with how it looks right now that much. Your combat system doesn't have to be perfect from the start. I'd recommend to just start working on the blocking system and then looking over it again once you got everything you want done for the mechanics. Then you can start fine tuning the little things.

From my experience i've seen a lot of people say that they improved in combat systems by doing it all over again until they got flexible and efficient with it

Well thats learning. In germany we say "Übung macht den Meister". I don't know the exact translation but it would mean something like "Practise makes the Master"
Thats true, repeated actions and fails also force you to learn and get better 😄
