#Feedback on Movement system

Yo I can't chat ingame but there is this (I'll just call it a bug) bug sometimes when you try to swing your just standing still
or well hanging still
yeah i did that if you press S, it slows down your momentum so you can control it. Idk if i like it or not

I did find out that climbing and swinging is not replicated on the server, so ill need to do that

Well i'd enjoy it more. Atleast im used to constantly swinging. Or not instantly losing all momentum. Maybe like still having to swing if you don't jump off after some time but not beeing able to stop the swinging momentum
alr, i could limit it so that you slow down a bit, but not to a complete stop so that you can still control your momentum.
And idk but i kind of feel motion sick because of the camera. It follows up which makes me slightly nausous. This could very will just be me tho.
Everything else is pretty cool tho.

Current issues:
- Swinging and climbing is not replicated on the server
- Sometimes when loading in, shiftlock is not instantly accessible, you may need to reset.
- Momentum comes to a full stop when swinging.
- Dashing into a wall knocks you out
I found another bug. When Im using shiftlock while going into climbing mode it unshiftlocks me.
yup, i did that on purpose. You get unshiftlocked on climbing state and swinging state
Alr then there is nothing to worry
because shiftlock edits the players cframe, or atleast the custom shiftlock im using
cause like if you were in shiftlock whilst climbing, and you looked around, the players character would follow, making them no longer able to climb
I see. It would give the player the option to rotate while climbing right?

Added a minimum speed
so unless you jump on the swing from 0 momentum, you wont be at a standstill
they can still use a lot of work tho.
Well one improvement that could be made then is to renable shiftlock after disabling it by force when the player is allowed to use it again. Maybe you could even make this a setting like "renable shiftlock"
Yeah it feels a lot better now imo

two things, 1. Im making a dungeon crawler game, so ill polish up the movement here and implement a combat system aswell,
and ill also try to sell it for some extra money
thats why i want to make this extremely well made, so its worth like $4.99
