Hi! I’m having an issue with Roblox Studio’s script editor. Whenever I start typing something like function, it automatically inserts a full function block. I only want normal word autocomplete (like finishing variable or property names), not full line or multi-line code suggestions.

I already tried changing the Script Editor settings (Autocomplete, On-Type Autocomplete, Acceptance Behavior, etc.) and even looked in Beta Features, but i still cant find it.

Does anyone know which exact setting disables full-line / AI autocomplete while keeping normal word suggestions?

(in the video you can see that when i press tab to complete typing function, it makes it a complete line.)

then scroll down and find code assist

and turn them off
